So now it's at the end of player interviews? Nice...

I can only imagine what Marner and Matthews have to say for themselves.

Crucially, Tanenbaum & Bell are on the same side of most major decisions. Rogers are on the opposite side, on their own.

So, if they want Shanahan fired / wholesale changes etc., they'll get what they want.

I believe the Rogers kids wanted Shanahan out in the past, but it was Tanenbaum + Bell that pushed to keep him in place recently. Not sure what that means now moving forward. Certainly feels like the goalposts have moved.

Interesting I would have assumed it was the media corps vs Larry

This organization does not deserve the fanbase they have. Half the league couldn't get this participation in playoff GDT, let alone a presser.

We really need to have our heads examined.

No incomponent organization could survive 56 years of futility without a dedicated fan base.

From my understanding, part of the Bell-Rogers ownership agreement is that they always vote together. This was to prevent Tanenbaum from teaming up with one against the other and part of the reason, Larry got an ownership bump from 20% to 25%. He gets to be Chair of the MLSE board and Governor but has little, if any, decision making power.
