No Shanahan today has to mean we won't be seeing all 3 back for the 2023-24 team. You'd expect to see a little bit of solidarity if they were really going to run this same show past us for another season.

My prediction is Kyle Dubas coming to speak to the media with a head of grey hair and wire rimmed glasses. It'll be just like there's a new GM.

One thing about Lou he would have at least made a coaching change 2 or three years ago . Probably would have found who is in for the money ot team.

-when their back is against the wall the standard “we’re blocking out the outside noise”
-when eliminated “we have a lot of belief in there”

Marner really needs a coach. a PR coach of Some kind. Crosby and mcdavid doesn’t say these things

ROR was a beast for us, i hope he doesn't blame himself to much. There were moments he literally just willed the puck out of the zone himself, and consistently won hard board battles, a true warrior. I truly hope we bring him back.

Funny how guys parachuted in are able to do the accountability thing but the regulars who failed repeatedly just throw their hands up in the air and have no clue why they lost. It's all about being honest with themselves and our core guys are not doing that.

We really need to have our heads examined.

For an awful lot of Leafs fans, it’s a fun way to spend a few hours every week from season’s start to whenever it ends. Whatever happens, happens. When it’s over, it’s time to shift energies towards other things in their lives. Sure, it would be great fun to see them win a cup and it’s always disappointing when they lose. But honestly, for an awful lot of us, what the Leafs do has little impact on our lives, so we feel no need to get terribly upset over their performance.
