Do you know if either wife will be talking to larry tanenbaum's wife ?He already did that, now its Shanny's wife talking things over with Dubas's wife

This is what I think as well and probably told a core piece or 2 to boot. And if this is whats going on then those that have said its not good for the gm to be such good buddies with everyone as it will cloud your judgement were right. Even Burke said it was super difficult to fire his buddy Wilson and it took him a while to do it even though everyone saw it needed to be done earlier.Yep, sounds like he was probably asked to axe Keefe and is distraught and in shock....

The DDC is the "elite" paid wing of the DDL. The rest are volunteers!I though it was league not club.. DDL sounds funnier too
Here I'm thinking that the most PP goals (18) by a Leaf since 2005-06 would be a positive thing.Matthews got less than 1/3 of his goals and points on the PP.
Nylander got less than 1/3 of his points and less than 1/4 of his goals on the PP.
Marner got very little more that 1/3 of his goals and points on the PP.
Tavares got half his goals and points on the PP.
He is far too dependent on the PP.
I was just going to reply the same thing...yes those were some dark times that I do not want to revisit but those were different times and the bar has been raised so expectations are raised as well. Its kind of the whole point isnt it?If your happy with mediocre that’s great, for me the bar is set a wee bit higher………
I agree but he kills play 5 on 5 with the other top 6 players we have id rather remove him then any of them fire Keefe I would have had knies with o Reilly and nylander and put Tavares with kerfoot and jarnkrokHere I'm thinking that the most PP goals (18) by a Leaf since 2005-06 would be a positive thing.
What would be something bad?Stellick was speculating that if they have something bad to say they would do it at 5 pm on a Friday before the long weekend.
Straight to the heart....yep thats badAfter much deliberation, we are happy to announce we are running it back.

Maybe. We might hear that they are coming back; only one of them is coming back, something else or nothing. So we won't hear that Dubas and Keefe are gone until after the weekend?
I think its more that it seems as though he is favoring soo players instead of having a wider outlook, kind of like how he didnt even look at anyone else other than Keefe. I understand why he wanted Keefe but to not even consider anyone else regardless is a little narrow.2 year, and what do we care if it’s one way?
Depth defencemen, I mean.. he’s adequate for the role no?
It's very bizarre that we haven't heard from Shanahan by now. I would have thought that the criteria for retaining or removing the GM based on the outcome of the season would have been established months ago. Did the GM pass their test, get offered his extension, turn it down then ask for greater power in the organization?
Take it for what it’s worth but a friend of mine who has mlse connections said they fired keefe today

Professional hockey players get bashed against the boards, grinding it out week after week in the NHL.
But when the skates are hung up after practices and games, they look forward to relaxing in quiet comfort.
The Park Avenue pad owned by legendary forward Brendan Shanahan is precisely that type of elegant perch.
Huge by Manhattan standards, the five-bedroom, 4.5-bath condo offers 4,200 square feet of living space. But it’s the location that truly sells the residence. It sits smack dab in the middle of the Upper East Side near all the great museums, fancy boutiques, and Central Park.
Building was constructed in 1920. (Realtor.com)

Unless hes replaced with a real coach (Quenneville) whose resume commands immediate respect (minus Beach) there's no point.Take it for what it’s worth but a friend of mine who has mlse connections said they fired keefe today
and the media parrots it.And people feel sorry for the tough life MLSE mgmt have to put up with, oh the irony………
