IMO Dubas' behavior indicates mostly hailmarys and risks there aren't any "calculated risks"

Example: matthews has a down year this time around; you calculate the probability of Matthews raising his game in the playoffs. If I was the GM I would have not made the TDL moves this season given my prime asset hasn't produced at the clip seen before and Tavares' even strength production is not even top 50.

IMO the "risks" taken by dubas were not calculated, they were mostly hail mary; and a competent management group doesn't do "hail mary" moves



First; tampa has won cups and have had 3 consecutive years playing in the SCF. Its not apples to apples comparison.

Second, and most important IMO, I do not understand the notion that if someone else made foolish moves then it justifies foolish moves made by the Leafs. That is not competence, that is, deflection, significant incompetence and lack of foresight

The Matt Murray trade is a perfect example of hail Mary move and not a calculated move. Matt Murray hasn’t been healthy or good for years….and He came with a 4.7 mil caphit…..

That was a really disturbing trend how Kyle goes out of his way to acquire former SOO players….like wtf…just like his onsession with dealing with the same 3 GM’s…Kyle really doesn’t make it easy on himself. good riddance dubas, you sucked

Nothing would shock me .. Shanny is exactly da type of person who falls on his sword .. it is possible Larry told Shanny he wanted team core changed and Shanny told him to fire me 1st .. but i don't believe that based on what Larry told sponsors last summer .. much more likely is Shanny has made a decision or two on his core and has told Dubie what he wants done .. Dubie may or may not want to execute it .. this is MY best guess .. and da Shanny's and da Tavares' family are great friends for many many many years so my guess is Shanny keeping JT .. any of other 3 are possible

If the MO of the fanatic POS Leaf fans is that they have a right to harass or toss death threats at the loved ones of personnel they feel is underperforming...f*** em. There is no shot talent is gonna wanna stick around here allowing their loved ones to get abused. And if they do? Then ya...they are gonna wanna get overpaid.
