Man does that look good seeing him out there. And it looks like he's skating pretty good. We need Ehlers and Perfetti back ASAP.

My guess is he's back this Friday against Dallas assuming a win against the Habs, who always beat us so that may be a tall ask.
I think we have some cap gymnastics we need to do to activate him though. Samberg being sent back down helps but I think Reichel or Perfetti need to go to LTIR or we waive Vesalainen because he doesn't need waivers and everyone else does?
A couple of videos he was really opening it up so I hope it feels good tomorrow! Get in one full contact practice and then unleash on the Stars and beat them in regulation if we really have any hope here. They play the Kings on Wednesday so if they lose and we win against Montreal it could make things interesting as by Saturday morning we could find ourselves with Ehlers back and 2 points behind Dallas (with them having 1 game in hand).
Lets keep it interesting through March! Go Jets go!!!!

Who was saying in the last GDT that they heard Ehlers wasn't going to be back this season? Not calling anyone a liar, anybody can get bad information.

he still hasn't had contact, there maybe a chance if he gets into contact tomorrow and feels fine, but I doubt he is ready friday
The Jets need back their little Viking asap. He's moving fine here.

Nice to look at but I'd mention 2 things:
If the Jets can string 5 wins together, things change significantly. I don't really believe they will do that as I don't feel like they have the mental fortitude to play consistently, or battle through momentum swings.
Giving them a 0% chance of winning the cup is bad math. Anyone who makes the playoffs has a mathematical chance of winning the cup, no matter how small.
What if the Jets go on a a heater and take the 3rd spot in the Central? We get healthy and Vezina Helle? Now all of a sudden you have a team that isn't really weak in any area, who's got the goaltending and at the top of their game. Teams like that win the cup with some frequency.
Again, I doubt this team will figure it out in time but I wouldn't say there's no chance.

I'm pretty sure it's just SigFigs - their actual chance according to the model is just <0.05%
We really need a 10 game winning streak to actually make significant progress in the playoff race, though. Or multiple 5 game winning streaks...

To be fair, we're up to 6.3% today and that is with Dallas winning last night. If we win tomorrow we probably jump up to 15%.
Some of these models have wild swings in numbers based off of a single game result as you get close to the end of the year.

Lowry has been putting the puck in the net recently which we've been desperate for from bottom 6ers for the first 50 games of the year. Copp+Ehlers is a combo that typically works in producing shots and chances, so hopefully Lowrys scoring spurt can continue with those two.

Aren't these the obvious line combos right now?
Shouldn't break up KFC PLD Svech. Stas Scheif Wheelers is scoring. Copp Lowry speedy winger is a proven winner but Ehlers should be able to convert at a rate that Tanev could only dream of.
