Shed the non contact Jersey. No comment on the lines
Love the lines! Now play the top 9 equal minutes.

Could give us 3 really good lines but i would like for Ehlers to be on the 1st PP instead of Wheeler . Just happy to have Ehlers and his speed back , he's way faster than Laine.
My dream (today, changes often) (lines aren't 1-3, just 3 scoring lines):Nice to have the little Dutch kid back! I guess 3rd line with Lowry and Copp until he gets his sea legs under him. Probably replaces Stastny shortly with 55 and 26.
Agreed, just want three scoring lines and this has potential. My dream (today, changes often) (lines aren't 1-3, just 3 scoring lines):
Harkins-Scheif-Wheeler
Connor-Dubois-Svech
Copp/Stastny-Copp/Stastny-Ehlers
Toninato-Lowry-Brooks/Ves
Top 9 has obvious weak links. If we go behind, load a top 6, otherwise be dangerous every shift.
Before anybody mentions Lowry scoring more than Harkins, Harkins scores a bit less than double what Lowry does per minute 5v5.
And yes I'm not a fan of keeping Wheeler and Scheifele together either but even in my dreams I sometimes have to make concessions.

With Perfetti back I would love to see the Jets run
91-55-27
81-80-71
9-25-26
12-17-93/21.
Honestly, that’s possibly 4 lines that can score. Especially when you consider the match ups that 4th line would typically get.

The problem is the coaches we've had, can't imagine it, and seem to have no idea of the talent this guy Ehlers has. In my opinion he's a for sure 90 point per year man if used properly. You can't get better young wingers than Ehlers and Connor, and both are fantastic.Imagine if he played PP1...
He has been playing on PP1 and he’s doing the exact same thing he does on PP2, get the puck at the blue line, skate in on the left side and shoot.Imagine if he played PP1...
Its been three games since he replaced Wheeler on PP1 and he has a goal and an assist. Our power play is cycling now and looks totally different. He has been playing on PP1 and he’s doing the exact same thing he does on PP2, get the puck at the blue line, skate in on the left side and shoot.
It’s almost like 5v5 slot shot volume has no barring on the PP.
I never said he can’t produce on PP1? I said he does the same thing on PP1 as he does on PP2 and that 5v5 shot volume has nothing to do with the PP.Its been three games since he replaced Wheeler on PP1 and he has a goal and an assist. Our power play is cycling now and looks totally different.
As I continue to say he should be the 2nd player over the boards for the PP#1 right after Kyle Connor. This is a mind numbing blind spot of our coaching staff. Zone entries are critical for the PP and we have one of the best in the league on the bench watching. Dynamic offensive weapon waisted.Imagine if he played PP1...
To be fair though, he looks pretty small waisted…..As I continue to say he should be the 2nd player over the boards for the PP#1 right after Kyle Connor. And by some people they mean the entire coaching staff since he was drafted.
