The backend is now tough. While they may not all be world beaters, my hope is each one buys in and does their job, plays an efficient game and makes it hard for the opponent to score. Essentially, be like Montreal's 2021 defence. That's what we need to hope for vs. DeBrusk blowing by them all in Game 7.

The gain is not having to see Lagersson or Lajoie or even Gio in the lineup if someone gets hurts.
