What a boring game. This was a horrybad period by the Leafs. If our stars would be paid on performance basis this game we wouldn't even hit the cap floor. Jebus they ain't facing a monster defense or goalie. Leafs are completly sloppy once it comes to offense.

The last great goalies the Leafs had were Johnny Bower and Terry Sawchuck 1967 cup winner's. Still hoping to see another great Leaf goalie, when that happens, they will win the cup.

Fair but Eddie was a lot of fun and better than any of the goaltenders since him.

McDavid gives off strong early career Sid vibes with this kind of stuff. Only differences are Sid had stopped by this point and still gets crap for it and for some reason McDavid doesn't wear the whiner rep at all.

To be fair, much like Sid, he's constantly being abused. NHL doesn't protect it's stars.

I really hope Matthews shakes this off soon. He is the goal guy. If he's not scoring that's a massive hit to the offense. He's still gotten points to start the year. But really need his shots to start getting in the net.
