So like a non-conforming softball bat, an old Miata that is no longer road legal because it is specced out for racing and an iPhone 13? Yes Patick you'd be running after that.
That stuff isn't exciting.

He was offered info on who the new James Bond actor/actress will be.

Krutov, who was drafted by Carolina in the 7th round, is scoring his 4th goal in 9 games in KHL as D+1 player.
I hoped we could draft him as early as in the third round.

I really hope Fitz will start to turn his forward draft strategy around. He is wasting picks for players without potential for some specific bottom line roles. The problem with his strategy is going from the fact that big guys with talent and skill are drafting by teams in earlier rounds.
From his 5 drafts he wasted tonns of picks for Stillmans, Hausers and Browns and the only one who was really promising - was Bardakov. And it looks like he is going to join Colorado. He was drafted in 7th round and he was wasted in the trade for McDermid.

Fitz should start to draft for potential. I dont care if player is from Russia or not. Its just easier for me to find good players in later rounds with potential because I have easier access for video materials of local guys. And the truth is that players with higher potential are available for drafting in later rounds.
More often they will not turn into solid NHLers but as a prospects and as assets they have some price and weight at least.

We have no talent in AHL, no talent in NCAA(outside one young promising goalie), no talent in CHL. Time to draft for talent and ceiling. It was a time all that time before. No matter how small player is. If we will find our Stankoven or Bratt - no one will care about his height.

Bardakov or his agent spoke?

Just watched this interview. Fantastic stuff. Yes a lot of Ranger love in it but Sam Rosen is an absolute professional and good human being. Hell of a career. So it was a great watch

I've always enjoyed listening to Rosen calling games. Doesn't matter that it's the Rangers. He has an enthusiasm and love of the game that's genuine, at least to me. It's going to be really strange hearing a new voice next season.

Looks like the Penguins broke the seal and signed the first NCAA free agent of this class. By most accounts it's a lackluster crop this year, but we'll see if the Devils end up signing anybody.

I’m sure you can find the picture of Vince Russo sporting a Devils jersey when he was In WCW?

I was slightly peeved when Calgary boy Bret Hart wore a Leafs jersey during the segment where he made Goldberg spear him because he had on a metal plate under the Leafs jersey.

I remember looking this one up several years back. It was from the Labor Day Monday episode of Nitro which was broadcast from Dallas, so I think Russo wore the jersey for some cheap heat since the Devils beat the Stars for the Cup.

For the 'rasslin nerds, it appears that was the last episode of Nitro that came remotely close to beating Raw in the TV ratings. Although with an asterisk since Raw was preempted due to the USA network covering the US Open tennis tournament.

Bret started that segment wearing a Calgary Hitmen Pavel Brendl jersey a few months before that draft. I always joke how that jersey seemingly represented Bret's time in WCW.
