what happened to mitch marner? only 2 points in his last 4 games.

where is william nylander? 0 points in his last 4 games and -4 to boot.

Marner does nothing wrong. Nylander should be dealt to another team though, he needs to feed Tavares even better open chances if he wants to contribute in any way.

Depends how they lose imo. If they lose in less than 5 I think we’ll see some guys losing their jobs.

It is unfortunate for Toronto that Bobrovsky finds his game exactly now…

The Panthers were great last year, and Tkachuk is a major upgrade vs Huberdeau. Montour is completely new player and Bobrovsky is starting to look like his old self.

They had a difficult start to the regular season but improved throughout the year. I don‘t know why everyone was so sure that the Leafs advance in this series.

Toronto lost 2x at home when you have the last line change. Toronto has the inferior goalie… i didn‘t like their zone entries…

All in all, I don‘t see the Leafs advancing. I am very sad for the city of Toronto because it is a great hockey city.

yeah..... we got alot of dumb fans.... Florida is a good team
but really neither of these games were blow outs. Toronto had their chances, Bob has been unreal and Samsonov has let in a few stinkers.
I dont wanna wish you guys anymore luck but really what we say has no effect on the game

people just look at the standings, completely forget that Florida has been one of the hottest teams in the NHL for the past 2 months or maybe longer.

FLA fans and lurkers thumping their chest that "FLA is so amazing" to win two games in a row, "Leafs will lose in 4 games", the "series is over". You were literally outplayed two games in a row by every metric, except goaltending. Right now you have a hot goalie finally coming out of his coma to earn his $10m a year paycheque, who has been historically bad, to the chagrin of FLA fans. If he reverts back to his previous form, this series can go side ways fairly quick.

At least when we played TB we recognized we were not the better team for long stretches, but that we got the bounces, and Samsonov made the big saves to keep us in it. But just wow, the arrogance of some of these FLA fans and others who are dunking on the Leafs.

Tell me about the metrics. How were they outplayed in game 1.

Samsonov has been good.Some of our forwards have been clueless,especially defensively.
I hope Nies comes back,and the whole team plays defense.

There is no shame in Toronto getting swept by Florida here, the Panthers are the better post season team.

Leafs got their cup with the series win over Tampa, they can have a special ceremony during their home opener next year to raise the “wild card round champions” banner to the rafters, give out rings to the players, etc.

Dubas, Keefe and Shanny can all feel secure in their jobs with that series win out of the way, and focus on regular season success next year.

Leafs lost game 1 & 2 on their own with a horrible amount of turnovers and Bobrovsky playing excellent.

The hockey gods, have a way of punishing people like this..................the chanting was a huge mistake and as people always say, be careful what you wish for....fans are fans....
Still some good hockey left, there are a possible 7 games out there.
