FLA fans and lurkers thumping their chest that "FLA is so amazing" to win two games in a row, "Leafs will lose in 4 games", the "series is over". You were literally outplayed two games in a row by every metric, except goaltending. Right now you have a hot goalie finally coming out of his coma to earn his $10m a year paycheque, who has been historically bad, to the chagrin of FLA fans. If he reverts back to his previous form, this series can go side ways fairly quick.

At least when we played TB we recognized we were not the better team for long stretches, but that we got the bounces, and Samsonov made the big saves to keep us in it. But just wow, the arrogance of this fanbase and other dunking on the Leafs.

There are like four posts from Panthers fans in the last five pages of this thread and most of us are just high-fiving at the fact that the team didn't get swept.

lmao

Good Lord, dude.

For sure, Panthers fans for the most part have been humble. They understand their team is up two games and rightfully celebrate that, but it is the troll fans that are most active.

Leafs will win the next 2 games.

Hmmm

FLA fans and lurkers. Glad you can read.

He just said almost no Panther fan has been in here acting like a douche, yet you only point out that you also said lurkers.

We also “outplayed”/played Tampa heavy and have lost to them. The only thing that matters is the pucks in the net. “We played Tampa hard,” cool. We lost to them in that series.
No. Not when they are pushing off side to side - it happens all the time. A goalie would have to push the net off like David Leggio to get a penalty? At the end of the day the anchors for the nets are flawed, and don't do into the ice deep enough, but it's done that way to prevent injury.

That said, you avoided answering my question. Because you know the answer without looking it up.
Friedman said it either in the 32 Thoughts pod a couple weeks or so ago, or it was on the Marek show. I can vouch, he said it.

So at what point is rebuilding over and trying to win a cup beginning? Boston's first round pick can't really be worth much, they finished first in the league.
He knows damn well that the draft pick had nothing to do with that chant.
Having said that, I don’t see why it’s a bfd that the fans were chanting both possible opponents while celebrating advancing to next round.

I don't think anyone in South Florida gives a shit about the "We Want Florida" chants. I would bet that the people who care most about that are highly online fans who just really hate the Leafs (completely understandable, by the way).

The Panthers were an absolute dumpster fire franchise for about two decades. Honestly, there was a period of about a decade during which they were legitimately about the worst franchise in all of NA pro sports.

Just enjoying the moment. Watching the Panthers get absolutely obliterated by the Lightning in round 2 last season, that was a lot less fun.

Leafs are a dumpster fire for way longer than two decades.
