Well, it is the playoffs. Florida is up 2 games to none. It is not over yet, but clearly, Florida's chances of winning are much higher than Toronto's. Being a wild card team is a testament to just how strong the East is this year.

He's quite clearly injured. Was more engaged early in the playoffs. Probably sustained in the back half of the TB series.

Likely shoulder, maybe wrist. Nylander is typically a league-leader in inner-slot goals. But he's showing an unwillingness to drive the net, or really even shoot the puck unless he has absolutely no other option. Shot lacks pop now. And he can't battle.

Peel is a goof. Only ref dumb enough to out himself on a hot mic. Now he spends his days abusing teenage refs in his local youth league.

But yeah. Definitely no discipline for Bennett. DOPS/Parros are more likely to buy him a case of beer and ask for tips on how to do a suplex.

Soon, very soon order will be restored to the universe, Leafs will be gone, too many of their players have the loser gene. 70% of Canada rejoices.

Obviously being down 0-2 is not good, and statistically very unlikely to win the series.

But as someone who took the Leafs pre-series...I'm not that concerned? Seems strange to say. They are definitely playing better and controlling more of the play than vs. TB. though. They haven't really been beaten by Florida, they beat themselves with some bad mistakes/misplays. They're probably unlucky to not have a split - Bob has just been very good.

They will win some games in this series. But whether they've dug themselves too big of a hole...well that's a different question.
