Keefe is being badly outcoached so far this series.
Same as round 1. The opposing team has a goalie in net, can't just fling pucks on net from the blue line and pray it goes in this time around. Florida keeps playing their game and they win this one quickly.Keefe is being badly outcoached so far this series.
Agreed. Florida looks like a legit contender.I dunno, now that all the experienced playoff teams are out it seems like a coin flip and up for grabs. Panthers have as good of a shot as anyone else that is left.
Same thing happened to Isles fans chanting "We want Tampa" well they got usHad a weird feeling about this series ever since seeing a Toronto news channel broadcast groups of Leaf fans chanting "we want Florida!" in the celebrations following their Game 6 win over Tampa. (At this time FLA had yet to advance past Boston). Idk, it just felt like really bad juju to basically say you want a team because you think they're easiest possible opponent. Be careful what you wish for, I guess?
Great comparable. At no point in Round 1 did that LA team feel like an 8 seed.I'm reminded a little of the 2012 Kings, as well. Like the Panthers, they were an 8th seed that was relentless and physical and gained a ton of confidence by beating the Presidents' Trophy winner in the first round.
Leafs in 6 is still possible.
That was 0% helpful. They weren't taking his calls in the first round, but they finally picked up.
What's the road record for all the playoff teams so far?
No one on this team went to that Cup finals in 1996. Most of them weren't even alive.
You make the same post every game.Still got Leafs in 6. If they lose this it's a massive choke
That is definitely a possibility: Florida in 4,5,6,7 are still possibilities. For the Leafs it can only be in 6 or 7.Florida in 4.
Vasilevskiy was complete garbage, which negated the fact that Tampa Bay outplayed Toronto. The insanity of this series is Tampa gave the leafs a much bigger challenge on all areas of the ice.
Bob god mode + constant leaf turnovers = 0-2
For sure. It would be interesting to know the stats for when the higher team loses the first two games at home. I mean NJ came back but they lost the first two on the road. Not at home.Florida still needs two more. Leafs can definitely win four of five.
R u sur? That is definitely a possibility: Florida in 4,5,6,7 are still possibilities. For the Leafs it can only be in 6 or 7.
This is all bullshit. No chance, they are not playing good hockey. Those cinderella runs we see every now and then, the teams play structured hockey and even though they might not have been an elite regular season team, they really pick up the 5 on 5 play and play like an elite team in the playoffs. The skaters for Florida have been really bad so far apart from the Tkachuk line, there's been a couple soft goals from Samsonov and some incredible saves from Bobrovsky.
If Bobrovsky stays hot he can win them this round, but the brand of hockey they're playing won't win them the cup. Gotta pick up the 5 on 5 play big time, elite goaltending can only take you so far. Like the Habs run to the finals, at some point you'll need your skaters to outplay the opposing skaters, it hasn't happened so far.
At this point in the season, Maurice doesn't really coach. He just sends out thus or that line.Keefe is being badly outcoached so far this series.
