Spring in Fialta
A malign star kept him
From that to being the first team in NHL history to finish 32nd. The decline was rapid.
And Toronto lost to that. At 3-1.

Its non Florida fans saying that.Cringing at the amount of people saying this series is over. Game 3 is crucial but man it's faaaaaaaaar from over.
People never learn lol.
I know! Most Florida fans seem to be taking this win with a grain of salt. Its non Florida fans saying that.
Habs fans and talking about the past.
Name a more iconic duo.
What's next, you're going to tell me you have the most cups before the league expanded to 25 teams?
Sure the leafs may win a couple but the Panthers will win at least one at home. Then its game over. Just because the Panthers came back from 3-1, theres zero chance the leafs will do it. We're seen too much over the years.Cringing at the amount of people saying this series is over. Game 3 is crucial but man it's faaaaaaaaar from over.

3-1 in 2021 is enough. I'd rather talk about the past - at least we have one, both old and recent - than accusing refs of having it out for a coach because of some abuser like you did.
It's 2023.
Anyway, I'm watching playoff hockey. Enjoy the reminiscing.

Thats been our (leafs) issue since Dubas kept this monster going for all these years.Bobrovsky is great, but no goalie should be doing that well against a team using so much cap space on its 'elite goalscorers'.
It's 2023 and the Leafs still haven't won a game in round 2 in 20 years.

Leafs could win 4 in a row. It's hockey all it takes is a run of lucky bounces and you can win. Now obviously it's better to not need to do that.Sure the leafs may win a couple but the Panthers will win at least one at home. Then its game over. Just because the Panthers came back from 3-1, theres zero chance the leafs will do it. We're seen too much over the years.
That Boston first round pick this year will really come in handy in the next 6-10 years when the leafs are ready to win a second round of the playoffs.
Its not in their DNA.True enough but at the same time, Toronto's recent history does not exactly speak to a team with the confidence to mount a comeback like this. Losing both at home... is isn't good!
I see what you did there. The Leafs have never finished 32nd in the NHL in their history.
At least that team had reached the final four twice in four years.
Florida for the dark horse....
I dunno, now that all the experienced playoff teams are out it seems like a coin flip and up for grabs. Panthers have as good of a shot as anyone else that is left.No chance, they are not playing good hockey. Those cinderella runs we see every now and then, the teams play structured hockey and even though they might not have been an elite regular season team, they really pick up the 5 on 5 play and play like an elite team in the playoffs. The skaters for Florida have been really bad so far apart from the Tkachuk line, there's been a couple soft goals from Samsonov and some incredible saves from Bobrovsky.
If Bobrovsky stays hot he can win them this round, but the brand of hockey they're playing won't win them the cup. Gotta pick up the 5 on 5 play big time, elite goaltending can only take you so far. Like the Habs run to the finals, at some point you'll need your skaters to outplay the opposing skaters, it hasn't happened so far.
I'm reminded a little of the 2012 Kings, as well. Like the Panthers, they were an 8th seed that was relentless and physical and gained a ton of confidence by beating the Presidents' Trophy winner in the first round. They are reminding me more and more of the ‘11 Bruins.
Relentless, opportunistic, physical and starting to believe.
