He is probably talking to the league, trying to manipulate the referees to be in Toronto's favour even more than they already have been for the first 2 games.
They weren't taking his calls in the first round, but they finally picked up.

Anyone know the historical odds of a higher seed going down 2 - 0 at home?
What's the road record for all the playoff teams so far?

History means nothing when talking about the previous round, but it means everything when your argument is hanging in the balance. Good one.

Because one series doesn't mean shit when you're looking at the grand scheme of teams records when they're down 3-1 in a series, which is why the Leafs are f***ed if they don't take both of these games in Florida.

Gotta say I would trade for that wuss Nylander just because his skills though. Would fit well with Barkov and doesn't need to worry about physicality. I think he'll get thrown to the wolves in the offseason.

Ekblad for Nylander? Ek can't skate anymore but at least he doesn't take shit like the rest of the Toronot.

Canadian broadcasters getting nervous with Canadian crown jewels down. Not great for hockey income and ratings.

Still away to go in the series, but still, it doesn't look great for the Leafs. I can't imagine this Florida team dropping 2 in a row. Leafs top stars continue to be ghosts.

Thought Toronto played better this game. Florida was the better team the first game even with the lopsided penalties.
This one could have gone either way.
I picked Florida in 6 as that Boston series really showed how mentally tough they are to come back after being down 3-1 in the series.
They showed that mental toughness again tonight coming back from a 2 goal deficit.
They have the look of a team that could go far. Getting hot at the right time.

Turns out Luke Schenn and the University of Minnesota's third highest scorer didn't fix the Leafs. Shocker!! Wonder how many more years until the Leafs win a game after the first round.

This series is far from over.

But Brad Marchand did say the following about the Florida Panthers, to anyone who doubted them coming into this series. He said "They were not an eighth seed team, they didn't play to their potential throughout the year".
