At least when we played TB we recognized we were not the better team for long stretches, but that we got the bounces, and Samsonov made the big saves to keep us in it. But just wow, the arrogance of some of these FLA fans and others who are dunking on the Leafs.

Give me a break, read the GDT, many Leaf fans were celebrating after the first period and bragging how easy the series would be and many clowns were saying leafs in 5.

I don't think anyone in South Florida gives a shit about the "We Want Florida" chants. I would bet that the people who care most about that are highly online fans who just really hate the Leafs (completely understandable, by the way).

The Panthers were an absolute dumpster fire franchise for about two decades. Honestly, there was a period of about a decade during which they were legitimately about the worst franchise in all of NA pro sports.

Just enjoying the moment. Watching the Panthers get absolutely obliterated by the Lightning in round 2 last season, that was a lot less fun.

Funny shit coming from a Leafs fan. We have the two best players in the world, best depth in the league, 9 top six dmen, best goalie tandem, blah blah blah. You guys sign a college player, and all of a sudden he’s a top 20 player in the league. You guys are the epitome of chest thumping. Fuukc I feel this was this first playoff game I've seen of 2023. The absolutely nasty, dirty South Florida style was very strong. The play by Benett was the perfect example of how unprepared the Leafs were. Credit to the TML though, they rose to the occasion in the 3rd period but it wasn't enough. How many posts and crossbars, 5? Welcome to the playoffs Toronto! Call me crazy but this series isn't over.

It's more likely than the Panthers pulling off the sweep as many on here think.

Watch and learn just like the Boston fans. This Florida’s team is the real deal in these playoffs. I don’t want to hear it’s just because of Bob. It can easily be said that Samsonov has saved the Leafs from total embarrassment, as he has had to make a number of high quality saves in this series.

Toronto has typical losing mentality that many old organizations in different sports have. They come from big markets and fans support no matter what. There is no requirement for winning at all. They need a coach that changes the whole mentality in the organization including not only players but also owners and management. Maybe they need to get rid of half of the roster too and bring in hungry younger players.
