Leafs are better on the road away from all the pressure at home.

I say it's 50/50 that the Leafs win both games or Florida wins one.

I don't think a sweep is in the cards.

If they run around trying to send messages, that's not the right response when you're down 2-0.

Watch and learn just like the Boston fans. This Florida’s team is the real deal in these playoffs. I don’t want to hear it’s just because of Bob. It can easily be said that Samsonov has saved the Leafs from total embarrassment, as he has had to make a number of high quality saves in this series.
Yeah but they are all bashing him saying he sucks lmao the dude makes 2million dollars. Sammy is the only reason they are where they are lmao

Leaf Fan Book of Excuses. 2023 playoff whine edition-Blame the Officials series...volume one.

I second this. Toronto is gonna come out Sunday with their backs against the wall. Even if we win that one I’m still wary.
We should only be talking if we actually finish this off.

That's cute but the probability of a team coming back from 2-0 is very low, and we're talking about the chokiest group in the NHL. Unless Bob implodes, this one probably doesn't get past game 5.

The hockey gods, have a way of punishing people like this..................the chanting was a huge mistake and as people always say, be careful what you wish for....fans are fans....
Still some good hockey left, there are a possible 7 games out there.
its not over till its over.

Anybody on the Leafs gonna punch Bennet ? Are they going to just let him skate around and do what he wants?
Nah apparently a flying elbow in game 1 to the head, a crosscheck to Bunts neck, and injuring our rookie is all fair game to this group. Pathetic. Too bad the Lightning didn't beat us, they would be faring much better in this series and would be fighting back.

Lightning deserved to win that series anyways, so a sweep wouldn't surprise me.

I said Leafs in 6 but now I think if Leafs win this series they will have to over come their Game 7 demons.
Have to Have to have to Have to win Game 3 and maybe 4 as well.

Series is far from over. But some bad habits creeping back in for the Leafs. Up 2-0 and in control of the game and then they make some bonehead turnovers under pressure just like in the first game and they are down 3-2.
The physicality and pursuit of the Florida forwards like Tkachuk, Bennett and Barkov, just to name a few, are giving the Leafs star players headaches.
Florida has to be feeling good going home up 2-0 with only one PP in each of the first two games. At some point the Leafs will start getting more penalties called against them.

Who knew fluking a series win didn't prepare the Leafs for the 2nd round ..

Same old mental lapses. How they came out in the second period is laughable.

They still can reset the series though. Do they have the balls to do it?
The Leafs won their series as did the other 7 teams remaining.

Still, the series is not over. Certainly the probability of the Leafs winning is low, but they will play the games anyway.

I am hoping the Panthers face Carolina in the next round. I think they can bottle up the Panthers top 2 lines, they are a lot sturdier on D. Even with their injuries, I think they could knock Bennett out of the playoffs.

Right like if the refs aren't gonna police it's on the players to do it always has been. And it shouldn't be a 100 year old O'Reilly who has to do it either

Great! If the Panthers were to win, it doesn't matter to me who they play. I don't believe it would matter to them either. Though they are only halfway to the series victory at the moment.

I mean I know we’re in the driver’s seat, but I always try to be rational and respect the opponent. The mentality that it’s over is what backfired on Boston and many others in the past, I’m staying grounded and humble and I hope our boys know better and do the same.

I wouldn't worry too much. Anything more than a gentlemen's sweep would be shocking to me. Good teams don't come back from 2-0 very often, and we're not even that.

Moneypuck has given Toronto the highest odds I've seen yet tom come back at just over 20% - this one's over.
