It's a bit ridiculous that the NHL can't provide a schedule for this round. I guess that can't decide when the Panthers home games will be scheduled. There's nothing going on at the arena but the Heat/Knicks play on Saturday afternoon and the F1 race is on Sunday.

What are they worried about? No hotel rooms for the Leafs fans?

The grand prix is at 7 this year. I dont why they changed it since last year it was on in the afternoon.

Why so salty? It's just an advanced-stats model. Model that predicted Florida to make the playoffs despite regular season struggles, even having them as near top-10 Cup favourite, model that predicted Tkachuk to thrive in Florida, etc, etc.

Because I’ve been an Athletic subscriber since day one, and that "columnist" ALWAYS shit on the Panthers at every occasion he has !

Even last year when we were Presidents…

Even this year when his model still put us in the playoffs despite being so far back, he always acted like he didn’t trust his model… And it’s only with the Panthers that he does that. In the end, he was happy to say his model was right, but he shifted on it all year because it was saying (like every other models around the internet btw) that we were a good team…

Believe me, I kinda liked his work, until I figured out he hated my team for absolutely no reasons.

I’ve never liked people who can’t be objective or unbiased…

Edit: Also… I’ve missed that article that was saying Tkachuk would thrive in our system… And since we changed it with PAUL*, I don’t really know how this "model" could be modelized ? Maybe his model did say he wasn’t riding Lindholm/Gaudreau’s talents… I do remember maybe an article were it said that Tkachuk was the partial-driver of that first-line in Calgary, and that he would still have success anywhere… But predicting he would thrive with our team ? Don’t remember that, you have to remind me…

That has always been the plan. Unfortunately Lomberg isn't there to strangle Marner so it's Lundell's time to step up.

I dont like this match-up for the Panthers, and mostly because the bruins did work on our PK, and the Maple leafs have a far better powerplay than the bruins did. Otherwise I think we can compete with them 5v5.

Anyways, I'm expecting a fun offensive series, and I honestly still don't have expectations going forward, just enjoying the ride. let's f***ing go!

Leafs pp can be scary, but I still think we are way better than them 5v5. They had a lot of hits vs Tampa but still they aren't that gritty outside of Schenn, McCabe, Bunting, O'reilly and Acciari. If we take it to them with the body like we did against Boston, and cut down even 1-2 penalties per game, I like our chances.

imo Toronno will eventually win this series mostly due to the Cats' inefficiencies in PK-ing. MStall and bambi has to take penalties because they can't handle Marner buzzing around the net. I'd consider it as a win if the Cats are able to inflict enough pain and misery that they are unable to compete in the east conf final.

Yeah. This team will continue to take penalties. Just the nature of the team/game they play

Our PK against Boston was pretty much a coin flip. 59%. If that stays the same, it likely will, then the next time Steve says "Let's Go Home" will be like this,
