Getting destroyed in the trenches. Have won a single o zone faceoff the entire series?

Games are won and lost 10 feet in front of each net. We are leaving guys wide open for tips and tap ins. While our offense is just rim the puck around the boards over and over.

Granted, it is completely unacceptable to get blown out and embarrassed, but which is it: BUY a team full of playoff experienced players or MAKE the play offs with our young inexperienced players a full year early and get that experience organically. Which team that has no vets at all made the playoffs? Even the Kings have an old and crusty core.
 
Damn what happened? I hope Igor doesn't win the Vezina. I don't want him to be rewarded after this pathetic showing. The top six should be ashamed. Relative to expectations, Laf and Kakko have been better then everyone in the top 6. Brod, like I have been saying, should have been in the lineup from the get go. Rooney and Hunt have been useless. Reaves is a regular season guy and playoff hype man, not an everyday playoff players.

We have shitty defence and no goaltending.
 
I hope we get a better Shesty performance in game five otherwise it’s gonna be a long offseason of speculation about his clutch game performance
 
Losing Lindgren really killed our defense. Nemeth and Braun are not good hockey players. NYR really has to solidify that bottom pair this offseason. Schneider needs someone better than Nemeth who has been an absolute turnover machine next to him.

I didn't turn on Geo when the team played like shit in front of him, and I'm not going to turn on Igor. This team has zero killer instincts and has resigned themselves to playing a game where they hope the goalie keeps making big saves.

I also don't know about anyone else but this DUMP AND CHASE 90's BULLSHIT SYSTEM NEEDS TO DIE. It's not build for the playoffs and it works by having teams make mistakes when you dump, but when you can't retrieve your own dump it exposes gaps on the backcheck. It's so DUMB and it's the only system that I can ever remember having being a Rangers fan.

This series is over.
 
Remember when we beat Pittsburgh head to head in the playoffs multiple times during Crosby and Malkin’s primes? With Derek Stepan as our 1C?

Sorry Mika, going up against Crosby isn’t a good enough reason to competely suck ass in all aspects of your game.

We need a top 4 LD. We need to murder, cremate and disperse Nemeth’s ashes. We need to somehow shake up the Zib/Panarin offensive engine to get away from being an over passing perimeter team.

The only way I can imagine that being executed is by one of them being moved. Neither will. And the one who is a center definitely won’t.
