Putting Giroux on 3C at times is kind of a bold move to break up the matchups, just wish it wasn't Grant he was out there with.

Only time Montreal had anything of substance was off turnovers, otherwise they've had the middle of the ice on lockdown.

Sanheim Myers are just incredible though

ya sanheim and myers are absolute beasts. They did make some iffy choices but all around they did better as a pair. Provorov made a nice pass to grant but he couldn't handle it but provorov recovered and got that back. You know niskanen is off his game when he can't time that 2 on 1 lay down right. He is usually money on those. What is up with him? He just doesn't look good against speedy wingers

Yep. The tempo and forecheck was much improved. Cut down on terrible breakout and neutral zone turnovers.
