That 3rd goal was terrible by Elliott. If Rask or Andersen let in shots like that, Komarov won’t make a difference.Holy **** this is some brutal goaltending. How much grit and good pro is pit playing with right now? Negative 8? Speed and skill wins babs, get that loser komarov out.
I dont even care about the third goal, phi cant handle pits SPEEDThat 3rd goal was terrible by Elliott. If Rask or Andersen let in shots like that, Komarov won’t make a difference.
Will be interesting to see how Babcock uses the lineup. If Komarov is a negative on 5 on 5, maybe they’ll double shift Connor Brown or Hyman, and just use Komarov on a penalty kill. And if Komarov costs us, Babcock can make the switch in game 2 or 3.I dont even care about the third goal, phi cant handle pits SPEED
if the Leafs not do what Flyers did, that would be great.
Bizzaro worldI have never heard Bob McCowan so positive about the Leafs. He actually thinks Leafs will beat the Bruins in this series. He will be less surprised if the Leafs win it in 5 as opposed to Boston winning in 5.

Flyers haven't heard of a goalie as good as Freddy in years. Nothing to worry about there.
Don't worry though, Bruins fans will whine about a reffing conspiracy when we get our first 2 min PP in game 2 off a Marchand flying elbow to the head. This Wild/Jets game is wild. The Leafs are going to get screwed if the refs let everything go like they are letting go right now in that game. I feel like every other hit is late, easily could be boarding half the times.
I hate it when refs throw the rulebook out of the window just because it’s the playoffs.

Is there any other sport where this happens? You'd think they'd try to maintain the consistent inconsistency from regular season to the playoffs. This Wild/Jets game is wild. It's pretty ridiculous how bad the officiating has become league wide.
When you can call anything, yet can also choose to call nothing, There is no set standard to rely on and as a result no accountability.
Who refs the refs?
I'm thinking the guy has to know everyone is watching him and the next serious infraction should give him a lengthy suspension.Don't worry though, Bruins fans will whine about a reffing conspiracy when we get our first 2 min PP in game 2 off a Marchand flying elbow to the head.
it's more about looking outmatched and 'don't belong"
It's amazing how outmatched you can look if your goaltender is a black hole
That's mighty deflating Daisy
It's THE PLAYOFFS. I prefer the refs don't call shit as much as possible. When the going gets tough, the tough get going. This Wild/Jets game is wild. Stephen Walkhom.
well he was the RIC (Referee in Chief) and then came back onto the ice for a few years, and then returned to office. I cant give you details, but Im sure the information is available on the NHLOA.com website. How long has he been on the job? Seems like there’s been a noticeable decline in the last 2-3 years.
