Yeah, it's basically TV audiences who don't get how big an 18000 seat arena is.
I sit on the side that Rangers shoot twice and where there are the largest pockets of away team fans are. If you combine the Rangers fans in those 5-4 sections it is maybe 750-1000. These pockets look huge on TV. But even if your sprinkle in a couple more pockets like that it still only gets the Rangers to like 20 percent. The 60-40 stuff you see on TV is so overblown.

Series is far from over

Panthers may outplay the rangers for long stretches, but the times they don't, the rangers pounce on it and make them pay.
Every game feels like a coin flip

To perhaps give an indication of the value of Sam Bennett to the Panthers, here is their record in the first 3 rounds of the playoffs over the last 4 seasons:

26-15 with Bennett
3-4 without Bennett

It's a small sample, but the eye test confirms how much they miss Bennett when he's out. He's a GIGANTIC reason for their success.

Far from over. The rangers will bring the desperation on Saturday. Hopefully the cats match it. If not, looking at game 7 and to expect the cats to win 3 at msg is a major challenge.

Bennet was a gamer his whole career including juniors. He has that it factor one can't measure

Part of that is it throws the bottom 6 off as they shuffle things around trying to plug the hole on Bennett line 2. Bennett is very important to the Panthers

The subtly in this troll is top notch - since there’s a thread going with “Are the Rangers Lucky”. Well done

I can’t quite wrap around the idea why Rangers fans feel their season is a failure if they don’t get to the Cup. I watch the many Rangers podcasters that to a person think this way.

Being a Panthers fan we had 20 straight years of not being in the playoffs now we are on a run. Do I think we at least should have a chance at the Cup for many reasons yes. One we were there last year we won the Presidents Cup the year before etc etc. It’s been years of being beaten over and over by Tamp Bay but we have gotten over that hurdle. Patience and grooming for the playoffs take time and the Rangers need to get in line for the promised land. And if the Rangers are as good as its fans think they are than you are on course to get there.

What you’re saying is that if a goalie manages to slow down the puck but not enough to prevent it from crossing the line it’s not a legit goal?

I don’t disagree. Someone needs to tell Shesterkin to please let pucks go in cleanly so that fans can see some legitimate scoring.
and who cares if a goal is legit or not. I rather score a bunch of "non legit" goals and win rather than legit goals and lose.
