Yeah he got his glove stuck on the helmet as he had him in a headlock, lol, unfortunate... can't get loose ref!

The hand wringing about the refs is such a lazy excuse. This series has not been decided by the zebras. At all.
Panthers have out played the Rags 5 of 6 games and the other was a coin toss.
Shesterkin doing his best Carey Price to extend his teams season as far as he possibly can.

It's interesting that in Game 3, FLA did a lot of good things but committed defensive breakdowns that NYR seized on. But last night there were no breakdowns, outside the SHG.

80% of your goals this series have been lucky bounces or own goals. What the actual f*** are you talking about?

Lucky bounces or own goals? Like you don't it's pretty obvious they are trying to score greasy goals like that, driving play to the front of the net. I've seen more wrap around attempts in the first 5 from FL as I have all year. It's pretty evident this is by design as you can't beat Eegor clean... outside of Lundell's last night and Tkachuk's in G1, massive goals he has to have imo.

I didn't realize shots that hit the goalie on their way into the net weren't legit.
Because this analysis is 100% correct.
I like how you are using the classification "legit" while simultaneously calling what you've done "analysis".

Speaking of "what the actual f***?"

You actually went through every goal in the series just to come to the same conclusion as everyone else: the Panthers have owned the Rangers this entire series. It should be over.

What's even more astonishing is all 11 goals the Rangers have scored are "legit", whatever the f*** that means.

WondeR how much Calgary management looks at Fla and Says daammmmiiiittt
You could build an incredible team with Calgary castaways. But the Bennett trade was pretty unforgivable considering their lack of center depth.

Imagine having Tkachuk and Bennett on the same team for 5 years and never trying them together. They also waited 6 full years to finally try putting Gaudreau and Tkachuk together, and 8 years to finally give Gaudreau two legit linemates (which ultimately gave them the best line in the league in 2021-22).

Hell, they weren't even playing Bennett as a center, they tried converting him to a 4th line winger lol.

Calgary's mismanagement of talented players is pretty unmatched.

Maybe you should think on why the Panthers are consistently getting these "lucky" goals.

Maybe if your team wasn't consistently hemmed in their own end, and we weren't consistently outchancing you, then these "lucky" goals would be more infrequent.

Truly such an absurd hill to die on. This is how a significant portion of hockey goals are scored. Even moreso in the playoffs when scoring drops.

This is hilarious. I got to ask. Why are pucks that went off the goalie and into the net “lucky” but pucks off the post and in “legit”? This is some of the most insane cope I’ve seen. Well done

Better team is winning this series. Knew it was going to go at least 6 games. Rangers need to really shake things up if they are going to push this to a Game 7.

I was surprised by just what Bennett brings when he got to Florida. Based on his use in Calgary, I figured we got a reclamation project for the bottom six. Yet he slotted in on the second line great with Hubey and Duclair, making them both more effective players, and never left.

I don't think the Rangers can do anything but hope Shesterkin turns into Hasek for two games. This is a bad matchup for NY because their best players rely on time and space. That's a recipe for disaster against a team who forechecks and backchecks the way Florida does.

So were tons of Calgary fans, which makes no sense to anyone actually paying attention. He was the exact same player in Calgary, but was very obviously being misused. The Flames nearly ruined the poor guy's career.

He's a legit all situations 200 foot top 6C who brings literally every element of the game you could want. Great skater and puck carrier, excellent vision, scores goals, goes to the net, great defensively, strong on pucks, throws massive body checks, and is one the best pound for pound fighters in hockey.

His 2 points last night showcase some of his high end skills as well as his ability to win puck battles. Just an absolute beauty of a no look pass to Forslund, and then he absolutely bullied Zibanejad before walking Trocheck for the ENG.

Yup. The first 2 games were pretty much dead even and ever since it's been all Florida.

Hockey's a dumb game though. Come out better in game 6 and put yourself in position to get the dumb bounces that might go your way and you have a shot. Just gotta go in and win 1 game. It's clear that home ice means f*** all in the playoffs nowadays (not just for the Rangers but hockey in general) and maybe it's better for them to hit the road away from an anxious and tense building.

That first game was not dead even. Florida scored the first goal and controlled the play in a way that made the Rangers look lifeless for most of that game. The difference was Florida was content to basically only counter attack and even then rarely

When it is your team it is "dirty playoff style goal" when it is the other team it is a ''lucky bounce.''

Isn't the whole point of controlling the zone on forecheck taking a million shots and GETTING PUCKS ON NET is to increase you chances for the lucky bounce? Especially vs an elite goalie.
