Kreider has given so much for this franchise that win/lose he still one of the all time Ranger greats.
Now, if you want to talk about Mika's legacy....

For me the worst thing about ESPN is there insufferable bias.
If the Rangers get the benefit of a perceived soft call or one their players are accused of playing over the edge it will be played and talked about ad nauseam. Yet when an opponent does the same it doesn’t even get a replay or in the case of a dirty play they’ll call it a hockey play or say they’re a heavy team doing what it takes to win.
Two years ago, ESPN’s talking points were Igor is a bit of a flopper. Bob drops his stick and throws himself to the ice at every chance but it goes ignored.
NHL Network is not much better, their chief is an Islander fan and it shows in their bias as well.

Which is why I don't need to see any posts attacking Kreider, but I''m sure some will still find a way to do so

I'm so insanely nervous but we've all seen what this team is truly capable of despite odds being stacked against them and so for that reason alone I think the big guns will get their heads out from their own asses tonight and put Florida in a choke-hold

lineup ideas that Lav will not try:

Kreider-Trochek-Kakko
Panarin-Chytil-Lafreniere
Cuylle-Zibanejad-Roslovic
Goodrow-Wennberg-Rempe

more wild would be to sit Roslovic (who doesn't even get a lot of ice time) and put which ever youngster has had the best compete/speed in practice. Edstrom, Berard, Othmann, or even old vets like Belzile, Brodzinski, Nash, or Pitlick. Just not Leschyshyn. I don't care how hard he's skating in practice :laugh: We need someone who at the bare minimum can go 50/50 on board battles.
 
With Lafréniere playing well, would you move him up with Mika and Kreider to maybe get them going and then put Chytil with Panarin and Trocheck??

Id rather give that a try then put Chytil in the middle on any line.

Certainly wouldn't be a big deal if they tried that

Just enjoy the ride. One of the reasons I posted the Ferris Bueller meme. For an 80’s movie it has such a powerful message.

Gotta live life, enjoy things and not stress over the little things. Don’t worry about the future, enjoy the moment now.

If folks are going to worry about the worst possible outcome can’t enjoy that moment.

This is so true and the right way to live life.

Listen, as a fan you know the chances of winning it all are slim going in. You cant get too crazy about it, none of us can control a damn thing. Do your best to enjoy the ride like you said. Because win or lose, come the end of June and into July-August in the dog days you wont be turning on that TV with those playoff butterflies flying around in your stomach. Its a great time.

Im thankful they've had a tremendous year. Keeping it positive. I dont think they are done yet, even if they do lose tonight.

Besides Goodrow and Trochek, no one is routinely skating to the slot to get a pass to shoot or shoot from that position. Everything is outside and it's maddening.
