With the 25th selection in the 2022 NHL amateur draft, Tampa Bay Lightning is proud to select, from the Rögle BK in the SHL, F Marco Kasper.

Austrian jack-of-all-trades forward with good size and skating, probably won't be known for his offensive upside out there, but as an aggravating 2-way power forward who uses his strength and speed to create scoring chances or shut down opponents. If everything goes well, should fit like a glove with Tampa Bay.

@bcv is on the clock, and will be PMed.

I might be the only Geekie stan, in fact lol.
Thought really hard about taking him for the Sharks since their center depth is terrible and they have a long way to go before they get their prospect pool back in shape, so they can take their time with him. A few years with Barb Underhill and he could be a dominant center, but seeing how his brother sucks so much ass and never improved his feet, I'm worried about Connor's potential.

In other news, Sharks have crap management that should really begin to think about setting the foundations for their inevitable rebuild. If they were to smarten up, in the actual draft they would add picks in the top-96 because they have needs pretty much everywhere.

#28 NYR

On the behalf of all the New York Rangers organization I would like to thanks the Montreal Canadiens and their fan for an incredible hospitality.

With the #28 pick in the 2022 NHL draft the New York Rangers are happy and excited to select from Omskie Yastreby of the MHL.
