A beautiful skater and stickhandler, Lambert is as skilled as any player in this draft. He's smooth! Quick feet, quick hands, and a quick mind who is a better competitor than often given credit for. The enigmatic Fin has top line upside.

I actually think Geekie is a good pick for them. Plays their style of game, is already in Winnipeg and they desperately need center prospects.

Perfect center behind Dubois. They should move Flanders (Schiefele) and retool. Wingers like Ehlers & Connor are still there to add offense and are still young. I think Perfetti will be a winger too. They also have Chaz Lucius and Chibrikov as up and coming wingers.

When I saw that both Kemell and Gauthier were still on the board, I was hoping for one of them but didnt had very high expectations.

I felt Ohgren's upside was too high to go elsewhere at that point.
