That was the original team owner. I took the last 2. I just assume he thought they were best options. No such thing as too much D. You can always do what Colorado has done and trade them for players you need (Timmins, Barron & Helleson).

I think I got a good mix of everything. Going to be interesting to see how my 3 russians do in the real draft.

If I had to guess, the biggest riser will be Hamara. The biggest undrafted risks are Ivanov, Milne and Buydens.

Jiricek @ 6 is great value. There's real possibility that he's the first defenseman off the board and could honestly go at 2, we just don't know. Incredible upside.

Perevalov I have a first round grade on. He's got all the scoring instincts and tools in the world. Might go a bit later IRL because the Russian factor.

Suzdalev is another toolsy player, he has great hands and perception of the space he has. Question will be can he create the same space at the next level when physically challenged more and having less time, but a great 2nd round value.

Hamara at 102 is a nice get as well, he showed his ability today. Nice offensive defender where you just give him all the time in the world to grow physically and figure out how to be effective in pro systems.

Those would be the highlights for me. Milne, Gustafson and Robertson are good value picks just not my personal favorites in the draft but they're on my board.

Well, I don't like that Ottawa got Jiricek. That will legit suck. Chabot, Sanderson & Jiricek is a terrific 3-some.

Perevalov is one of my favorite players in this draft, and I think is highly underrated.

I like Gustafson too. High compete. Good skills. Needs to work on his skating.

You also took another of my favorites in Mikey Milne. Geekie wouldn't be anything without him. Drives his line.

Hamara/Booth both have good upside as offensive D that can transition, and still provide D.

It looks like you went high upside with each pick. Ottawa has a ton of picks again, unfortunately.
