I had the absolute fortune of so many draft picks in the first 3 rounds.

Ostlund and Kulich are already showing off at the U-18s. I have some high upside american defenders in Rinzel and Fisher. Really like the pro upside in Odelius. Zhilkin is a smart player who I think finds a role.

Ingram is a personal favorite in the draft and Jake Richard could be a steal, high IQ and great hands. Finley is another homerun swing.

Yeah, Arizona is getting a deep prospect pool out of this draft alone. Sick.

Florida selects Swedish overager Nils Bolin (W), of IK Oskarshamn J20.

A 2021 draft eligible, Bolin only played 16 games in the 2020-2021 season and didn't get drafted.

This year, in his 1st full season in J20 Nationell, he led the league in scoring.

He brings a big body, 6'3, and goal scoring ability. Worth a shot this late.

Florida hasn't had too many picks. But this is what I have so far.

3. Nicholas Moldenhauer (W) - Chicago (USHL)
4. Kocha Delic (C) - Sudbury (OHL)
5. Cedric Guindon (C) - Owen Sound (OHL)
6. Adam Engstrom (LD) - J20 Nationell
6. Nils Bolin (W) - J20 Nationell

5 picks. No 1st or 2nd rounder. I have one more pick. Late 7th.

Just realized I have no 7th round pick, so I ended up with:

18th Liam Ohgren
49th Jani Nyman
88th Fabian Wagner
114th Gavin Hayes
146th Ivan Zhygalov
178th Oscar Pettersson

With a bit more luck I would have ended up with Cutter Gauthier, Jani Nyman, Viktor Neuchev, Elias Pettersson and my last 2 picks. Gauthier got picked 1 spot over me, Neuchev 2 spots over my head and Pettersson 1 spot. A bit frustrating, but still very fun experience and Im overall proud of my crop, just not so much about my 1st selection, I would have never picked Ohgren after watching some U18, I would have picked Kulich or Bichsel instead. I also regret a bit passing on Adam Sykora for Wagner, but time will tell.

:sharks select Mason Kesselring from Cushing Academy in the US Prep league. Big body with solid IQ and is able to move well. Will play with Chiliwack next year then commit to UConn the year after.

First of three 7th round picks... So exciting, maybe I'll find the next Datsyuk or Zetterberg. :sarcasm:

Like Arizona, Seattle will build a prospect system in this draft. They sold and suddenly have a ton of picks.

That's the guy I wanted with my 7th round pick. That's why i want auto pick now. Great pick and great draft !!
