Look at post 199I don't know if it's been discussed, but Dumba clearly jumps a bit into his "monster" hits.

Dumba looks like Michael Jordan with all the air he's getting there. Here's the image from that post
Don't forgot Reaves fights Robertson. Because why the f*** notShould of been 2 min for interference and 2 min for roughing on Dumba. 2min roughing for Domi. Stars get a 2 min pp. The stars can handle it next game with a fight at the puck drop. Domi or Benn fights Dumba. With that said I think it's very close to being a 5 min interference with a 3-game suspension.

This is a is dumb post, I know your trying to be funny. Why would having one of the stars fighters challenging Dumba be so far fetched? The only guy on the stars that would fight reaves is Haakpaa, and he' bail right away.Don't forgot Reaves fights Robertson. Because why the f*** not
Things have become so bad that we're now breaking down someone actually getting hit in the NHL.It wasn't that many years ago that you would see 2-3 hits per playoff game just like that.
Why should Dumba be forced to fight for a clean hit? This is a is dumb post, I know your trying to be funny. Why would having one of the stars fighters challenging Dumba be so far fetched? The only guy on the stars that would fight reaves is Haakpaa, and he' bail right away.
What is there to conclude from this still?Look at post 199
But, they didn'tWhat is there to conclude from this still?
If anything, makes my point more clear. Pushes off into the hit for elevation. Perhaps "leap" is too strong a word, but there is a reason Dumba's skates went flying into the air the way they did.
So you saw his skates go flying above the crossbar then.About 100 times
Dumba's skates didn't leave the ice until he fell well after the hitSo you saw his skates go flying above the crossbar then.
His skates are in the air because he elevated himself into the hit with a hindleg skate push right as he is delivering the hit. He's not getting the hangtime he gets otherwise.Dumba's skates didn't leave the ice until he fell well after the hit

We're going to debate the fallibility of reffing now? Lame. His right skate came up after the hit. If he lept into the hit, he would've gotten a major.
Skates on the ice, no head shotWhat is there to conclude from this still?

The league office reviewed the hit and said it was legal. Wasnt even a penalty. The minor he got was for scuffling with Domi. We're going to debate the fallibility of reffing now? Lame.
I already said that "leap" is perhaps too strong a word, but no question, he pushes off of his skates to elevate into the hit. It's not egregious, but that's the secret to his recent pattern of monstrous hits.

One skate is on the ice. The one he is using to pushoff of into the hit.Skates on the ice, no head shot
