Anthony Duclair
Alex Goligoski

To Arizona:

Charlie Lindgren
Nathan Beaulieu
Arturi Lekkonen
David Deharnais (cap dump)

Habs need a LD that can play solid minutes with Weber and more offensive punch. on LW. Arizona gets a prime goalie prospect that's almost NHL ready, a young LD with solid top 4 years to come and a good LW NHL ready prospect.

What think you?

I think this is embarrassingly bad for Arizona. Woof!

Strome for Duclair makes an awful lot of sense, even putting aside the family connection.

Wild have excess top 4 Dmen, and have need of forward talent. All are between 22-27, and have good contracts and zero character issues. Seems to me that something will have to be worked out...either one of Brodin, Scandella, Spurgeon, or Dumba would be a big win for ARI, and even Reilly is looking to be a future top 4 guy.

Let's have our people call your people.

OEL, Murphy and Goligoski all have long-term contracts (not gong anywhere), Chychrun has been the Coyotes best Dman other than OEL...there's your Top 4. DeAngelo has been very good since being recalled. Chychrun/Deangelo both on 1st year of ELC's. Leaves Stone/Shenn for 6/7 spots. Also have Kyle Wood who's 20 and been very good at Tucson. So while those Wild Dman you reference are talented, moving Duclair for one of them doesn't make sense for AZ. If Duclair goes (and I strongly doubt he is traded), it will be for a C or W.

Kypreos on HNIC: Teams are saying Duclair can be had for the right price.

he also said the Coyotes will be asking for a pretty penny
Wow, breaking news eh Kipper...does he really get paid to deduce this kind of info?? :help:

All Kipper is missing is a beer in his hand, at it would be like any one of us talking hockey with friends or family...:shakehead

Here's one Nick, Malkin may be had, for the right price, but the price will be steep...TV reporting at it's finest, Nick Kypreos...

OK. Just saw that ARI was third to last in GA/G. Goligoski is older than the oldest of the Dmen I mentioned by 4-9 years, and is paid more, and is some cases significantly more, than all of the players I mentioned.

Seems to me that your defence could use an upgrade.

Doesn't add up does it.

Duclair is a 2nd line LW and gets 1st line PP unit duty.....he has 1 goal and 2 assists in 17 games this season......either he is not as dynamic as we once thought or he is really playing poorly......either way, it is not good. Is he just snake bit or not as good as advertised?

I'm not even sure how to evaluate him currently. He had a good first season with AZ but has that become undone with a terrible start to this season?

False. He's playing 11 min a game, which is basically 4th line minutes. He's been clearly in the doghouse this year which explains why he has such poor numbers. As for the reason why he's in the doghouse, Yotes fans havent been able to explain it AFAIK.

That's pretty horrendous for Arizona, Doubt the Yotes have any interest what so ever in this kind of deal.

Haydn Fleury for Duclair got a favorable response.

If Arizona needs Centers I'd also consider an Elias Lindholm for Duclair+ deal. With the plus being something like a 2nd or a comparable prospect. Heck, if the Canes keep playing well I'd do Lindholm+ for Duclair + Hanzal.

LD for AZ include OEL, Goligoski, and Chychrun.

It's not a fit.
