Maybe you are use to that, but you missed by a mile.

I made it clear that I was a fan of him, because the Habs are so weak in center. I wanted him to be traded to the Habs and got a lot of flack for that from Hab fans. Seeing what he turned out to be, I still had some hope that it was just a slow start and still thought that maybe there was hope that we still would get him.

That link was posted in my forum to my attention since i still advocated for him. It was a clear shot in the head. Given how bad he's turning out, I thought that you guys might want to see it.

That's it.

If you think it's trolling, that's your take....I'm not going to participate in any exchanges.

No one believes your act, kiddo. Go back to Quebec.

This might be as captivating as knowing who killed JFK
The list of questions I have that will never be answered goes back years and years and I rarely see or hear anybody with a self created platform asking them.

So... ya know... sports are dumb. You pays for your ticket and you get what you get.

Metaphorically speaking.

DL seemed to be able to give a lot more transparency and sometimes admit when he didnt get the results he was looking for... do you agree?

Something you may or may not know, back in the 2016 draft BargainBin, aka Bergevin tried to move up from 9th to 3rd to draft Dubois.

He drafted Sergachev, still wanted to trade for Dubois but then landed up trading for Drouin.

Don't know if this was purely political to land up with a Francophone or he had the usual fascination with big guys...which mostly land up as busts. .

Whatever the background reason Blake decided to go for Dubois, it's very likely Bergevin went nuclear advocating for that trade.

Dont waste any more of your time talking about Dubois. You care more about his play than he does himself. Not worth having it in your brain.

In defense of PL - if you look at his stats - when he was traded from Columbus to the Jets - that was his worst year. He admitted recently "adjusting" has been his hardest part.

I would give this trade until the end of next season. PLD needs this year and next and then I can safely say it's terrible.

The problem is, if he continues to suck like this through the end of next season, the Kings won’t be able to buy him out at the same rate they can this summer. They’ll be on the hook for six more years and his trade value (if there’s still any at all) will be even lower.

The year he was traded to the Jets he got covid and got injured twice after being traded. Not the same.

That would be even MORE damning of the pro scouting given this was the epitome of a "now" trade

I don't think the highest-paid forward on the Kings deserves any passes for any reason whatsoever. He's making $9,000,000 this year. LA fans deserve a lot better than his piss-poor effort.

Everything needs to be perfect for Princess Luc Dubois.

He needs a year to adjust. He needs the "right" coach. He needs the right wingers. He needs to be in a city he likes. He needs to change how his name is pronounced. He needs to be "feelin" it to play well on any given night.

Once all the conditions are met, he'll put in a good effort in 1 out of every 3 games.

Yeah but he got hot for one week in August over 3 years ago in a bubble against the team that lost to their Zamboni driver. Those guys don’t become available often. Pay the man now!

They aren't buying him out anyways so it doesn't matter.

He won’t get bought out regardless.

NB: That’s not a defence of PLD BTW.

If Blake gets fired during/after this season, then PLD will be bought out. If the trade costs several people their jobs, there is no way ownership keeps the player.

Meanwhile you have guys shitting on Byfield for scoring the wrong KIND of goals while this guy gets the kid gloves

if people were consistent with their feelings on PLD as they were with the other Kings they'd be getting threadbanned left and right!

There is no defense of PL. The dude is the antithesis of why we love hockey.
