gotta be fair with him about the shirt though, i think that's the one with the integrated neck guard and it buckles somehow in the back so it probably looks weird unbuckled and probably just prefers no sleeves so snip snip

Honestly I think you move him to the wing and I could see him going full Jeff Carter. Dude seriously needs to have next to no defensive responsibility or carrying the puck thru the center of the ice.

I mean of course that makes the trade look even stupider but at this point it's about salvaging things. Let him play to his strengths and be a finisher with hands around the net, take the puck carrying and two-way full ice defensive responsibility away, and you'll get a good player worth much of his salary. Keep him at C and keep rpetending he can be even half of Kopitar or Danault, and we'll keep getting embarrassed and lose playoff games on matchups. Imagine this slug covering McDavid or Drai.

Met PLD today at the event - second time meeting him. Hard not to like him when you meet him. I have backed off my PLD hate. He's a big animal guy - esp dogs.
