Why should the Habs offer anything of value other than Dvorak + 1st? Habs have no motivation to pay the price. They should just be patient and tell Chevy to pound sand.

He should have been fired by now. You absolutely, 10000% could not lose a Laine deal. Here we are now and it’s very much looking that way.

I wonder if Boston looks into this, I don't think they want to go from 65 wins, to a rebuild, and that could happen given the age of their center core.

That applies only to the first arbitration window, if Winnipeg uses the second one, he can't sign an offer sheet.

There’s fans like that on every team. Habs ones are just more vocal. Unfortunately, I don’t think Barron would be a piece we could afford to move. It simply creates a hole at D that we can’t fill in the future. Mesar, Mailloux or Beck would be available though.

Because we have no interest in Dvorak, so if thats all you are ever going to offer… just don’t bother wasting everyone’s time.
The answer is no and will always be no… Dvorak does absolutely nothing for the Jets so why should we accept that… I’d let PLD sit on his ass in the stands for the year before I accepted Dvorak in return… thats how little I value Dvorak

Habs need Barron more than the Jets. Don't see Barron on the table.

What about Newhook and Col 1st? That seems fair to me.

But apparently Dubois is a quitter, an headcase, cancer in the locker room. Dvorak seems a fair offer.

Not even close… PLD knows where he wants to play and is using his leverage to get there… just like every other player… what he did in CBJ, I’ll admit was scummy, but everything he’s done in WPG has been ok.
As for cancer in the locker room… thats Wheeler and Scheifele

Didn’t Dubois do something of this sort before? For some reason I have the impression he is a bit of a diva
