Why are you blatantly lying?

You have a 5,000 post thread on the Habs forum to talk specifically about Dubois and it has a poll, "Would you rather that the Habs trade for Dubois or instead wait and try to sign him?". Results:

35.8%: Trade and sign him this summer as an RFA
52.5%: Sign him next summer as a UFA
11.7%: He ain't worth either

So, when you say, "Most of the board don't even want his toxic pedigree" and yet, only 11.7% (out of 522 votes) say they don't want him, I think it's HILARIOUS that you're coming here to try and save face.

"Ohhhh... we didn't want him anyway".

Habs aren't taking Michkov top-5, no chance. Hopefully at 8 or 9 they would.

Personally, I think Reinbacher, Leonard, or Dvorsky are our targets, and instead of reaching for one of them at 5 we can take them at 9

Think article said list teams wanted PLD and agreed to his contract terms before they went to Chevy….no point giving a list with uninterested parties

Like I said before, I don't care if Dvorak (with his nil value) is part of the package but many Habs fans just added other assorted trash to it and tried to pass it off as a good deal.

The bills are starting to get paid. :D

Exactly what I would like if they like someone else. I could see PHI, WSH or DET moving up to 5th for him. If you shy away, trade down for your prospect instead of reaching.

HUGE risk getting this locker room cancer, especially for a rebuilding team with lots of young/impressionable guys. PLD will form part of the "leadership" and as such it's probably best to stay away if you're rebuilding.

Who can say that he won't be unhappy with his new team next year if things don't turn out 100% the way he expects (which they probably won't)? Dude has too long of a history of quitting when he doesn't get his way.

If i am PLD, i am seeking out Colorado, Boston and NYR (assuming Montreal falls through). Those are probably the best spots for him. NYR are always in the hunt.

Maybe even Vancouver for 11th + Myers. 11th + Myers is probably the best deal i have seen on these boards. Much better than Newhook + late 1st.

Habs can’t afford PLD. Guhle and Slaf will be lined up for their 8M x8 contract in 2 years, followed by Hutson, then Michkov who will not sign an entry level contract and do the Kaprizov. Habs set the precedent for over paying unproven player. It will these players agents who laugh and hang up.

I don't think it's the way it work, I believe PLD will look at teams he would be interested to play and then see if the contracts terms work but I might be wrong.

I guess we wait and see in the next 3 weeks.
 
Serious question - what's with this bloke? Two teams he has asked to be moved from. That can't be good for any player for reputation.

Put Myers in a mascot costume. Doesn't matter - he's only got 1 year left. Then you try to dump him at the TDL for value. Its not like you need the capspace.

You do this to get the 11th OV in a stacked draft.

Suzuki and Caufield proved themselves pretty well 2 years ago against the Jets in the playoffs IIRC

Man - you're not even listening to yourself. Either you're an offensive player or you're a defensive player or a hybrid.

If you're calling a 60 pt player a star with #1C potential - he must definitely be in the hybrid/defensive type player.

There's no "other traits" to justify a 60 pt player - he isn't physical for shit - we're not talking about the same player - hes a one dimensional offensive forward
