I honestly was not aware of that. Here on the east coast we can’t watch teams on the West due to blockage (unless illegally streamed on the internet).
But yeah, you are right about Dach. Time will tell. Both the fans and management are super excited about him though and we look forward to seeing him play like he did at the end of this season.
If you talk to anyone/many east of ONT you will likely hear them complain about all the Leaf and Habs games we're forced to watch on HNIC, TSN and SportsNet. We all understand why the sports networks do it ($$$), but it still doesn't make it less annoying being forced to watch teams you have nothing to do with or in your division, etc. Same goes for coverage about Habs/Leafs being discussed by those networks, its none stop information about them even when they aren't relevant from a standings POV. Literally we get more (or way too much) information/coverage on Habs/Leafs every year then we do whoever the cup champion is which is a weird and annoying fact.
Meh just part of sporting networks chasing clicks and advertising dollars.
