.8 to $4M is 5x$4 million > $5.8 million...?
Or
$4.8 million > $7.5 million...?
$1.7 to $5.3M is less

I was told there would be no math here hehe$4 million > $5.8 million...?

That's one weird-ass way of trying to paint it considering net accounts for differences in salary..8 to $4M is 5x
$1.7 to $5.3M is less
why are you moaning at me and not the athletic for these absurd analyticsThat's one weird-ass way of trying to paint it considering net accounts for differences in salary.
Just to highlight the absurdity:

$8.5 million to $7 million is .82x. Ben Harris was more valuable than Leon Draisaitl according to you.
I didn't force you to make an inane post.why are you moaning at me and not the athletic for these absurd analytics
Like it or not, even if the Habs say we are out, we are still going to comment. You know, we do have a lot of fans with varying opinions.
I can offer more I believe;Hab fans with varying opinions:
1. Dvorak, Kidney or Beck, Florida 1st
2. Dvorak, Beck or Kidney, Florida 1st
I'd do thatI can offer more I believe;
Florida 1st
Calgary 1st( top3 protected)
Justin Barron
Owen Beck
Better?
Glad we got that out of the way. Who wouldn’t lmaoI'd do that
Yes, that would consummate the deal. Hey, I would even take Dvorak if you wanted.I can offer more I believe;
Florida 1st
Calgary 1st( top3 protected)
Justin Barron
Owen Beck
Better?
Glad we got that out of the way. Who wouldn’t lmao
Great. Keep him. OK with Hoffman as the cap dump, but for anything longer than a year, you're paying for it.
Jesus Christ, what a comment. Guessing that taking garbage contracts from the Habs should be a fun pastime for everybody, or what?
I can offer more I believe;
Florida 1st

One of your brethren said Harris isn't available. You guys need to talk amongst yourselves more lolIm upping the notch here , Dvorak + Harris + 3rd round pick. Tough to give up so much but Winnipeg can't refuse that offer its too good
@Mersss said Harris is a better player than Romanov when he was traded for 13OA. I think he figures that Harris is worth a 10OA.One of your brethren said Harris isn't available. You guys need to talk amongst yourselves more lol
Sometimes I wonder if there are no actual Hab fans on here and it's just some Russian bot farm f***ing with us for some strange reason@Mersss said Harris is a better player than Romanov when he was traded for 13OA. I think he figures that Harris is worth a 10OA.
This discussion is honestly a circus.
The key wording for me there was "brisson willing to work with chevy"...
Doesn't sound like it's "I want to only be in montreal". Also, if his goal was to get to Montreal asap, he'd sign his 1 year deal and go at UFA next summer. This makes it sound like he's willing to be elsewhere
I'm guessing there is a list of markets he'd re-sign in and chevy can work to get the best deal from those teams
For all this talk of Dubois wanting to go to the Habs, I could see it being an absolute career crushing disaster. I really don’t think he’s going to like the Habs media the second he struggles
I love these threads because they're usually filled with comments like 'PIONK for Trouba are you kidding me?? Never in a million years bud'
edit:
here's an actual example
Value of: - Trouba
Sanheim just had a better ES scoring year than Trouba Sanheim’s 5v5 P/60 last year was 1.11, and that’s with a moderately elevated sh%. Trouba’s last 3 years are 1.29, 1.22 and he dipped to 0.96 due to a slump in the second half of this season. He was running at ~1.3P/60 until Dec. The chances...forums.hfboards.com
PLD defining his legacy as a quitter.
My favourite aspect of hockey analysis is when two people can watch the same player play and have two exceptionally different views on them.
To me, Anderson with his contract has negative value. He is big and fast but is awful defensively. Offensively he is one tricked with his north south rush, but is incapable of cycling the puck and incapable of high impact passes. This is a player who gets heralded for his "goal scoring" ability, yet struggles to crack 20 goals despite playing the majority of his time with the top two units of Montreal.
He gets lauded with these "intangibles" as if points do not tell the whole story, but if you are incapable of making a key pass, or cycling the puck despite your massive frame - you are killing more offence than creating. Especially with his tendency to blow his coverage. With a contract pushing 6 million, that's a no go for me.
We keep Dvorak. I have no issue with his contact at all. Gallagher on the other hand if you want him I would add Beck...Beck, Barron & pick 31, if Dvorak is coming over. If not, we leave Beck out of the discussion.
Again - it is not the Jets' responsibility to help Montreal with its bad contracts. It is a service that comes with a cost.
Hopefully our current management is smarter than previous editions.If hes smart hell angle a move to. contender. Given his ties and background, Habs will always be there to offer him a huge contract even if its 7 or 8 years from now.
Between what will be a massive cap hit and being a QC player, year the media will eviscerate him.
Lol. Harris is completely expandable.it's ok. Harris isn't really available, anyway
yeah, for another D that's a better fitLol. Harris is completely expandable.
I stand by that also. Harris played a lot better than Romanov did before he was traded.@Mersss said Harris is a better player than Romanov when he was traded for 13OA. I think he figures that Harris is worth a 10OA.
