Well all I can read about him is that he works really hard, plays all three positions to varying success, and finishes his checks off the strength of his intense forechecking. Sounds like Tocchet will love him, and honestly fits the bill of other guys that have had success in the organization over the past few years.
I've always liked O'Connor's game in Pittsburgh......watched him closely and he was really noticeable any time the Canucks made a trip to Pittsburgh.
Remember thinking that he's kind of forward who'd look good in a depth role. Hockey DB lists him at 6'4" and 209. But what stands out are his wheels for such a big guy.
Let's face it, after Joshua and Sherwood, the Canucks are really bereft of physical forwards who can win puck battles along the wall. I suspect the Canucks pro scouting staff has been targeting him for awhile.
