He has become the player I thought he could after watching him at his first Development Camp & playing in that Development Camp game in front of management, media & the public. He was terrific then & he's playing like that now as he learns to become much more consistent, although he hit more in that game than he normally does now. He's got good size, he should hit a little more when he has the opportunity.

How nice is it to have 2 potential 40 goal scorers a PPG+ player and a budding star/superstar in our top 6 who are all very young along with 2/3 D who will represent their countries in best on best tourneys. Any GM would jump at the chance to come here under new ownership.

I'm not sure an assist was warranted on the tkachuk goal. That puck rattled around for a while.
