An overager of the draft who didn't necessarily dominate the 5th best junior league in Canada. He's a good skater, but I think we could have gotten a better value player.

I don't think it's a bad pick but I preferred, Mukhanov/Hellstrom/Begstrom/Rimashevsky etc

The more I reflect on this draft the more I'm disgusted at Dubas. I mean wheres the picks? What do you have to show for it.

Kyle Dubas and Shanahan are the worst things to happen to this organization since Harold Ballard. The situation that Dubas was handed compared to what he left for Treviling is night and day.

Without a shred of irony, I loved how Hunter and Lamoriello drafted "the fridges" in late rounds. You want upside, swing for the fences picks? Motherf***ing Sasquatch in the sixth round, if he can figure out how to skate and gap control, we've got GOLD on our hands.

Considering blindly drafting the highest rated prospect on these lists or even just taking the CHL forward with the highest PPG available would out-draft the majority of NHL scouting staffs by thousands of GP you’d really hope they have access to these lists instead of trying and constantly failing to be the smartest guy in the room. Just take normal players from normal leagues lol.

I have to wonder. If Dubas hadn't traded picks at the deadline, how many of those posters who are complaining about having no picks would have been raking Dubas over the coals for not adding players when teams like the Bruins, Lightning, Rangers, and Devils were doing so?
