Go look at their Cap friendly they have 6 UFA forwards, 3 UFA D and Samsonov is an RFA that's 10 free agents, that means they have 10 holes to fill.

Just because there's a lot of pending UFAs it doesn't mean they have to replace them 1 for 1. They were over the 23 roster size.
They will likely sign a few depth players for the Marlies but I'm not sure anyone really cares about that. Every team does. The important thing is that the NHL roster only really needs a couple players. If you disagree and still think they need to 10 NHL players, then have your fill.
I don't see a clear path to us moving enough cap to add anyone in UFA to make a difference on this Roster. It looks like a depressing run it back year with the same personnel that have failed over and over again.
