So Cowan was #23 on the Leafs list...
Sorry if I missed something, what makes you say that?

I wonder what the asking price for Askarov is
It's crazy that you not only know the kids max height, but also his max ceiling. It's crazy we wasting 1st round picks on players who's ceiling is 5'10 3rd line winger.
As do I, to me that would be like pulling off a Tukka Rask trade. I would give up a solid package for him. (not elite established guys on the NHL roster though)I wonder what the asking price for Askarov is
I think we are going to see a couple moves today, right now they have a 5th and 6th rounder I have a VERY hard time believing it stays that way, even if it means like swaping our 3rd next year for one this year.
Could’ve dumped Murray at least and still got this guy.
People are upset with this pick lmao. If you wanna feel better go check out the Habs board, absolute meltdown. They still aren't over taking Slaf #1 last year, now passing up on these many great forwards at #5, big L
Yeah, they were absolutely losing their cookies over there last night.
That about sums it up lolSometimes we make the mistake of thinking they’re trying to build a Cup contending team.

I think the Leafs do nothing today and pick at their spots.
Their full efforts and concentrations are on the players that need new contracts.
Rightfully so, they have no game-breaking talent and they had a chance to get one.
At some point they have to actually DO something
I think moving Jarnkrok would be a mistake. Any time you have a guy show chemistry while playing up un the lineup you're getting better value from him. I see him playing with Matthews this year allowing lines 2 and 3 to be stronger and so the team is stronger.I've had a feeling that we'll see a move.
For some reason I can see Jarnkrok or Lafferty traded today.

Nice. Fairly bold prediction. Jarnkrok is always a question mark to me. Not your ultimate competitor in a grind it out playoff situation. He scored a goal and 2 assists in 11 playoff games. Career 22 points in 86 playoff games. I'm not saying he's brutal, but he's a very average to below average NHLer.I've had a feeling that we'll see a move.

Do they though? Treliving seems more fixated with making a pitch to sign free agent star player Ryan Reaves.

Jesus, that's bleak. Can we sue Dubas for gross negligence?
