WAAAAAAA!!!
My picks something are (2:Hughes/Kakko), (18:Newhook/Caufield/Suzuki/Poulin/Kaliyev), (27:Hinolea)2 + 18 + (27-31*)
obviously it's difficult to project who is going to be available at 18.

Does anyone know where arseni gritsyuk might go in the draft? 3rd-5th round? He might go the chl route as i think he is still on a junior contract
Broberg would be extremely difficult to pass on with the Jets pick. That’s a pick that can provide great value versus draft position. Broberg’s tools are extremely enticing. He just needs time to marinateIt’s looking like there will be some really nice defenders in the high teen’s or 20’s... do we still go wing or center if a guy like Heinola, bjornfot, broberg or Harley are there ?
Feel York and seider might not make it down that far
Yeah agree to good to pass up albeit there will be some centers available there as wellBroberg would be extremely difficult to pass on with the Jets pick. That’s a pick that can provide great value versus draft position. Broberg’s tools are extremely enticing. He just needs time to marinate
I get serious Cam Fowler vibes from Broberg. I'd steer clear and am very close to putting him on my "do not draft" list.
I'm a much bigger fan of York, Heinola, Seider, or Harley in the Winnipeg spot if the Rangers go with defense there. I don't think Soderstrom and well, Broberg for that matter, are going to be available if the Rangers actually pick with the Winnipeg pick.
Soderstrom is probably an 8-12 guy whereas Seider is more feasible with the Jets pick.I get the Seider intrigue, but I feel like enthusiasm has gotten a bit overblown. Give me York or Soderstrom any day.

I think York would be a great get with the Jets pick, but think he’s about 50/50 to be there. Montreal fits him like a glove, and I wouldn’t be surprised to see him go in the 11-14 range come draft day.
Fowler puts up points but is absolutely horrific in his own end. I'd want a 1st round pick to be more well rounded unless the offensive skills are enough to overlook the warts on defense."Do not draft?" You say that like Cam Fowler is a bust. The guy has had a really nice career to date. We'd be damn lucky if we took a defenseman at 20 who became Cam Fowler.
I just don't get it. Pretty much every Anaheim fan loves him and what he's done yet so many Ranger fans feel he's garbage"Do not draft?" You say that like Cam Fowler is a bust. The guy has had a really nice career to date. We'd be damn lucky if we took a defenseman at 20 who became Cam Fowler.
Any of those three would be incredible. All three are gone if we don't pick 19-22. I think some have Soderstrom going top 12I get the Seider intrigue, but I feel like enthusiasm has gotten a bit overblown. Give me York or Soderstrom any day.
That is sick. Unfortunately, I think he is on Montreal's radar. I believe they have had some success with Finnish players and they need a dman like him.York and Heinola are probably my 2nd and 3rd preferred D after Byram
Heinola is tracking a bit similar to Heiskanen, some people think he could play in the NHL as soon as next year
He was also the best Defenseman drafted in the first round. I would argue probably the best d man in the entire draft!"Do not draft?" You say that like Cam Fowler is a bust. The guy has had a really nice career to date. We'd be damn lucky if we took a defenseman at 20 who became Cam Fowler.
KlingbergHe was also the best Defenseman drafted in the first round. I would argue probably the best d man in the entire draft!
Ah yes 5th round pick. I prefer Klingberg but it’s not clear cut he’s better.Klingberg
Soderstrom will never make it passed 15 IMO.I get the Seider intrigue, but I feel like enthusiasm has gotten a bit overblown. Give me York or Soderstrom any day.
York would certainly be a solid pick. He will definitely be able to walk in Mickey Andersson’s foot-steps and be a top D for the US in the U20. Reminds me a lot of Andersson, doesn’t seem to be very skilled nor does he have much size or spectacular skating, but he subtly gets the job done. Nice No 4 D potential.
SorryAt this point I expect Heinola to almost certainly be off the board before 18. He might go higher than every other name you listed.
