Salary Cap: Dr Dubas Cap Thread: He wants the Nurse

  • If you are having issues logging in, we have found opening the log in page in a new tab/window rather than using the pop out should resolve these issues. We are working to get this resolved and thank you for patience.
  • Due to the increased volume of league transactions, the Trade Rumors and Free Agent Talk section is temporarily restricted to where threads may only be started by moderators and sponsors. We anticipate that this restriction will be lifted some time after the first round of the draft.

Very tolerable. Those are the kind of picks that you can easily recoup as well. Decent trade/risk-reward.

Interesting thought that he's a center and that's the one position we have relatively locked down - Sid-Novak/Geno-Kindel-Lizotte. Wonder if this opens the door to someone else exiting.

Does he require to go through waivers?Otherwise its at least a nice player for WBS. Otherwise, yeah, Novak or Braz are probably gone

Rakell-Crosby-Rust
Chinakhov-Novak-Malkin
McGroarty-Kindel-Brazeau
Dewar-Lizotte-Soderblom
Lapierre

This is what they're likely sitting with right now. Lapierre is just another Tomasino/Soderblom type of low-cost young addition, if he pans out great if he doesn't who cares.

Isn't that self evident? They aren't moving picks for a guy they're not planning to play in the NHL.

Does make it harder for Avery Hayes to snag a spot I imagine

I would rather just go with what they have that being the case. This dude stinks. Whatever... price was cheap and once they lose interest and he goes unclaimed he can maybe help in the AHL.

I think he means Wheeling. Hoffman's said they're going to make the Everblades the Pens ECHL affiliate.

I assume WBS is staying as our AHL affiliate

Oh trust me I'm aware. I live right outside of Wheeling.
