We don't play again until the 10th. Wondering if they will send Luke or any other waiver exempt players down for the week

The Ads are hosting the Manitoba Moose in front of a big crowd! Probably 7000+. The Admirals are going for their 12th win in a row against the 7th and last place Moose, who have 26 fewer points than Milwaukee. The Moose have won their last 3 games.

Two minutes into the game and Moose goalie Collin Delia made a good save against Del Gaizo. Moose get 2 minutes for Tripping from Ref Cody Beach (#45). No SOG during the PP. The Ads had one SOG during their second PP. During that PP, Delia knocked the net off before the Ads took a shot.

Egor just sent a Moose player flying into the NE corner on the PK. The Ads killed it. There is 2:20 remaining. SOG 12-7 Moose. The game started out with 3-0 Ads. No score in period 1. Del Gaizo seemed to be everywhere on the ice. The Moose have the bad manners to take SOG during their PPs.

Not much has happened in period 2, other than Egor running over a Moose player. He is turning into another Theron Fleury. The Ads go on the PP, 2 minutes to Ford for Elbowing. The Moose win the face off, come down the ice and score an unassisted SHG in 8 seconds. They score again on a 2-on-1 just out of Askarov's reach down low on the same penalty. The fans are wondering what is going on?

Stastney (5) scores from the top of left circle at even strength. Assists to Jankowski (30) and Reid Schaefer (8). The Ads are back in the game. Jankowski was robbed at the far post on a saucer pass by Egor. The checking has picked up! Jake Livingstone (2) just scored to tie the game. Assists to Weatherby and ? That was 4 goals in 5 minutes and the Ads just missed 2 more. Now the Ads don't miss. It was Del Gaizo (7) with assists to Egor (19) and Jankowski (31) two minutes later. Ads 3-2 with 3:08 remaining.

Where would Milwaukee be without their Dmen filling up the net? No deflections and no shots from close to the crease. Maybe Delia is near sighted? Svechkov wanted to fight somebody, #37, Henri Nikkanen, another Center. Kemell just creamed somebody in the NE corner. SOG were 12-11 Ads.

Kevin Wall (3) scored 2 minutes into period 3. Assists to Felhaber and Svechkov. He was Cross Checked during his celebration by #27, C J Seuss, who was surrounded by all 5 Admirals skaters. At the far end Livingstone was Cross Checked before the puck was dropped. After the drop, Livingstone hit the guy across the kidneys. No calls. Schaefer was just Cross Checked in the Neutral Zone. He got the guy's #. With 14 minutes left in a 4-2 game, there is plenty of time to find him on the ice. Wall for Slashing. I think it was #27.

Parsnip with the unassisted SHG. A league leading 12 SHG for the Ads! 27 just pitchforked an Admiral at the far end, then high sticked another one at the near blue line. The Ads are throwing some heavy checks in response. Five minutes to go. Jankowski just fought 3 Moose for the puck and won. He passed it to Schaefer, who got sandwiched. Ouch! The clock is down to 3:35.

Svechkov scored a goal near the end of the game. Ref Shaun Davis, who was close to the net, called it good. Ref Cody Beach, who was relatively far away, signaled no goal. There was no discussion or review and Svechkov was very unhappy about the call.

My daughter had a good view and she said it was a good goal. No goalie Interference nor Admirals in the crease. She stated that "Beach is a diva who wants to be the center of attention!" At 5-2, the game was decided.

During the 12 game win streak, the Ads have scored 51 goals and allowed 19. I believe that they had five shut outs. The Ads have won their last 11 home games, also a team record.

Taylor has gone with 11 forwards and 7 defensemen for 21 of the 41 games this season. The prospects are getting good ice time in all situations which is promising.

Trotz said that the organization wanted Pars to get ice time at center and the best way to do that was to let him play in Milwaukee. He’s making the best of his time there so far. His goal tonight looked like a screw you im scoring kind of goal.

Good, bring him back up, play him at 2C and on the PK.

Bring up Afanasyev too, it's time to sit someone other than the kids.
Theyll probably sit down there and gain some mojo and momentum until we purge the coffers up here. Im beggining to feel like atleast a smaller sell off or send down is coming shortly

It wouldn’t surprise me if Parssinen’s stay in Milwaukee is longer than anyone here anticipates. Trotz’s comments about the organization wanting him to play center leads me to believe that Parssinen stays in Milwaukee until they figure out the Preds roster or Parssinen is playing so well they are forced to bring him back up and make room for him. If and when he returns to the Preds, either Glass or Novak or both will have to move to wing if they’re still on the roster.

Parssinen may very well be stuck in Milwaukee but fitting him in isn't all that hard. Novak to wing and Glass can center the fourth line. If Glass can't figure out his confidence playing against that level of competition then it's time to move on.

I think Parssinen will be back up around the deadline. He requires waivers as of next year as well is something to remember so Brunette is going to need some time to play with the lineup and flesh things out this season so Trotz can make some adjustments in the offseason if needed.

Way i see it:

Novak either to wing or traded.

Need to figure out if either Glass or Parssinen is competent enough to placehold as 2C. That's what we really need out of one of them. Right now we have a Colton Sissons 2C. Ideally he is 3C. If neither are competent enough for 2C duties, trade glass and keep Parssinen. When svechkov is ready, wedge him wherever he can fit in the lineup pushing whoever out of the way.

Really impressive that it's not just the shooter hitting the glove and he has to move the glove down instead of going up where most people would shoot in that situation. Maybe his glove hand is better than me thought, it was a major concern last season.
Askarov has improved his glove since last season. He no longer dangles it below his knee, making him vulnerable to over-the-shoulder shots. I would like to see him have a higher save %, but that also depends on his Dmen and how well they play. It varies game to game and period to period.

That's good to hear. Hopefully with more coaching and experience he'll get the save % up.
