I’m not outraged by any means. I don’t think I could care any less if the kid makes it to the NHL or not. I’m just pointing out that his problem isn’t his talent or competitiveness, his problem is he’s a dumbass. The delusional takes on here that he’s Marchand reincarnated are also ridiculous.
Any grown ass person who goes around calling kids dumbass . Is the epitome of Dumbf***ery !

This conversation has gone off the rails a bit....

But, I'll say this last thing. Last season L'Heureux was getting called out as a menace to society, this season he's just a dumbass that tells shitty refs that they're shitty. Seems to me that people that really don't know what's going on with the kid should maybe slow their role.

Your wrong! There is thinking your competitive until you run into uber competitive Mark Messier . There are tons of billions of people who make it to the top just because of talent !!! But don't have one give a shit bone in their body.
I don't disagree that there are differences in compete level at the highest level in sports. Hell, sometimes it even makes sense not to go 100% all out every single shift especially as guys get older.

However, the idea that someone can reach the elite level of the NHL (or NBA, MLB, NFL etc) without a "give a shit" bone in their body is just crazy. Talent only goes so far. Every single player in the NHL has given their lives to hockey. Yes, some work slightly harder than others but I'd be willing to bet 95+% of people on these boards have not worked (physically) as hard at anything as the laziest NHL player has at hockey and fitness.

My view and opinion on him has not changed. I’ve always said his problems are mental.

I know it hurts but alot of hard stuff comes easy to alot of people. Knocking out people was not hard for Mike Tyson , or Tank Abbot lol

I'm not sure what would "hurt" about it but if you're gonna try to make this point you might want to use someone without a well known insane workout regimen lol

Mike Tyson was knocking grown men out, robbing them , he ripped UGOD'S moms earrings out her ears tearing her earlobes at 10 years old Tyson was already a Brownsville legend. What do you think he got sent upstate for . He was knocking all the kids out in juvi so Bobby Stewart took an intrest in him. He did not start formal boxing till he was almost 13. I'am from Long Island we know all about Tyson lol Also lesser known fact Mike Tyson is in the Brownsville Purse Snatching hall of Fame. They let Mike out early to train with Cus , because Cus had juice , and pulled some strings all this for a kid who supposed to do about 10 yrs. because his crimes were so violent. He had no formal training up to this point violence came easy to Tyson . You gonna do some research how about get the whole story.

Yes there's talent (or in this case violence) and then there's world class skill. Talent comes easy to some. World class skill comes with talent mixed with a ton of work.

Nobody makes it to the pinnacle of their career field without being Uber competitive. There’s not a single player in the NHL that isn’t Uber competitive. L’Heureux’s problem is not that he is Uber competitive, his problem is that he can’t control his temper, his emotions or his mouth. Maybe that changes when he matures (we can only hope). The players in the AHL already know if they push him hard enough he will snap, that’s why players on other teams crosscheck him and play him dirty. The opposing players may take a 2 minute penalty or two but they know eventually he’ll snap and the Admirals will be down a player for the rest of the game and possibly the next game as well.
What you posted is only about half correct.

If he says anything to our rotten refs, he gets thrown out. He went to the Penalty Box and 2 minutes were put up on the board. He sat in there for maybe 45 seconds. The Ads fans were howling that the other guy should be in the visitors box. One of the on ice officials came over to L'Heureux and told him that he was out of the game. He got up and promptly skated straight across the ice to the Ads bench, where he can go back to the locker room. I thought that he got 10 minutes. It was announced as 2 for Embellishment, 2 for Unsportsmanlike, a 10 and a Game. You could not hear the PA after L'Heureux headed down the runway. I thought that fans were going to throw trash on the ice. The other guy got 2 minutes for Tripping. He did not go to the box in a timely manner and he received no additional penalty.

In one of the games against Texas, a guy put L'Heureux into a headlock and was bending his neck backwards next to the Texas goal. Ref #15, who worked both games, was looking right at it and called nothing. L'Heureux puts up with a lot.

I never heard anything about the Stars player who rifled the puck at the crowd after the game was over. I have been going to pro hockey games since 1964 and have never seen that before. The refs are like pro wrestling refs with what "they don't see".
The season is half over and the Milwaukee fans are already tired of this mess.

In the Friday game against Texas, one of their players was called for a minor. Instead of going to the Penalty Box, he fired the puck at the side boards. Then he went to the box. He did not receive an additional 2 or 10 for doing that. If an Ads player did that, they probably would have picked up an additional penalty.

I believe that the team and especially L'Heureux, are the victims of biased officials this season. If this continues, we will get another riot, just like the Derek Martin game in 1990. That had the Ads coach ejected 5 minutes into period 2, after the second 5-on-3 in the game. About 500 sodas, beers and popcorn boxes were thrown on the ice. The players were sent to their locker rooms while the ice was shoveled and resurfaced. It must have been 30 minutes or more before they came back. The newspaper had 2 photos with the story. Martin refused to talk to the reporter and he never worked another game in Milwaukee.

I have heard that minor refs are still young enough to have resentment to guys they see to be on their way to the NHL. The Admirals unlike most AHL teams are loaded with younger talent.

Probably nothing personal just easiest move for GM to do without having to put a player at exposure risk (waivers) or having to make a trade. He will be back. He can get some games in and build that confidence up as well.
I like this call. I honestly expected it sooner. He needs some games with Karl to get him back confident again.

The Ads (24-10-1-0) are hosting the Belleville Senators (18-15-2-2) in 5th place in the 7 team North Division of the Eastern Conference. The Admirals, with a stellar .700 win % lead their division by eights points.

The Ads are off to a fast start. They had the first 5 SOG, and were close to scoring 3 times. Hodgson and Parsnip are playing with Schaefer. Recently, Milwaukee has been playing 11 Forwards and 7 Dmen. They have won 9 of their last 10 games. Askarov is in goal. That is at least 3 games in a row for Asky.

Jankowski started at C between L'Heureux and Afanasyev. Weatherby is now centering Hodgson and Parsnip with 6 minutes remaining. Jankowski is on with Schaefer and Foudy. Jankowski (12) scored with assists to Foudy (3) and Wilsby (4).

Ads have 3 C on the ice. Hodgson, Jankowski and Svechkov. The Ads are not changing 3 forwards at a time. It looks more like a conga line. SOG 11-6 Ads with a one goal lead. Lots of skating out there.

In period 2, I will be watching and counting the Dmen. Gravel on the left with McKeown on the right. Wilsby on the left and Statsney right. Del Gaizo left and Gross right. Now those two switched sides. Ads score less than 2 minutes in. Weathby (8) with assists Hodgson (1) and Svechkov (14). The game has suddenly gotten chippy! Egor got 4 minutes for High Sticking (retaliation) and the Ads get a SHG. L'Heureux went to the net and Jankowski tapped if in (13).

All Hell just broke loose in the SE corner. Gravel for Roughing, Zach Ostapchuk for Boarding and Roughing. There were 6 guys in a dog pile and gloves were hitting heads for 30 seconds or more.

Asky broke a skate blade. Maybe things will calm down. It is 4-on-4 now. I saw Stastney on the left and Livingstone on the right. That is 7 Dmen folks. The Ads killed off the penalty. The Senators had 6 or 7 SOG during Egor's penalty. Now Jankowski wants to fight somebody. We still have 11 minutes to go!

Penalty Shot for Belleville. It just misses the right post. Still 3-0 Ads. Hodgson took a few face offs. Ads have been on defense for about 2 minutes. Now they have an O-zone face off thanks to Parsnip. Imama scored on a dribbler with 5 minutes remaining in period 2 to get Belleville on the board. Ads have 2 broken sticks on one shift. One minute remaining. Askarov looking sharp. SOG 16-9 Belleville.

Period 3 has started. Mandolese is still in goal for the Senators. BTW, Kemell is still not playing. L'Heureux nailed somebody in the SW corner. Lots of Checking going on out there on the ice. Belleville playing good defense, none of the Ads shots have reached the goal in the first 6 minutes. Two pairs of players were scrumming after the whistle. There are 13 minutes remaining and L'Heureux breaks the ice with a SOG. Ads called for Tripping with 10 minutes remaining. It was an iffy call on Hodgson. The Ads killed it. L'Heureux picked somebody's pocket and nearly scored. Six minutes remaining. Svechkov called for Holding and Belleville scores with 4 minutes remaining to make it 3-2 Ads. Milwaukee TO. Belleville scores on a wrap around. Asky did not have his right post covered. Schaefer fires over the net as the horn sounds. Overtime is next. SOG 9-3 Senators.

Jankowski, Egor and Statsney start, win the face off and lose the puck. Del Gaizo out with Parsnip and Foudy. Foudy passed to the wrong team! L'Heureux streaks to the net with 2:18 remaining. That was the first Ads OT SOG. Egor for Tripping with 1:08 remaining. It will be 4-on-3. The face off is 8n front on me in the SE corner. Won and cleared by the Ads. Breakaway by Jankowski. It was stopped. Asky with a good save!

The Shoot Out is coming. Ads shoot first. Cal to start. Off the right pad. Pilon missed the net. Gross scores low on the glove side@ Asky saves. Jankowski loses the puck. Sens tie. Egor is next. Off the blocker. Sens way wide. Parsnip gets stopped at the right post. Asky with the save. L'HEUREUX SCORES! Sens tie again. Foudy goes 5-hole! Asky with the blocker save. Ads win after seven rounds!

Eight wins in a row for MILWAUKEE!!!

Good. You would never know that he did not play for eight years. The Ads went with 11 forwards, so he and Parsnip got plenty of ice time.
With so many forwards on the team kindof odd to go with 11 though i guess they are down 2 with Guiranov up here and Kemell injured.... though Parssinen just got sent down and Hodgson is playing so net 0? Idk. Glad Hodgson is getting a second shot at a career. I really liked giving him a shot the first time... it just didnt work out.

Taylor has gone with 11 - 7 for several games and said that its keeps the Dmen
Fresh during the games.
