I’m not going to argue with Taylor because he’s a mad genius but I’d prefer they call up Kemmel first between those two

Karl Taylor says L'Hreaux is "the most pro-ready" of the youngsters

Sounds like Poile knew what he was doing trading up for him

Edit... and Kemell with two goals already tonight
Thats kindof shocking. Dont get me wrong, i think his style is gonna translate well but i figured he was gonna need lots of time to ton down his shanningans. He does seem disciplined in terms of minor penalties. Looks like he has 3 10 min misconducts, 3 majors, and 10 minor penalties in 24 games.

To me depends on where the callup is to fill to me, bottom 6 L'Heureux or Afanasyev. Top 6 Kemmel.

Anybody make it to the Ads game tonight? Can you explain what the cellphone lights before the game was all about? There was no sound on the AHLtv broadcast
It was for Hockey Fights Cancer. First, it was survivors. Then relatives of survivors joined. Then friends of survivors.

After one period, it is 4-0 Admirals on 13 shots. Kemell with a blast from the dot. Kemell with a backhander on his own rebound. McKeown with a tap in. Weatherby popped one over the goalie and into the net with about 4 minutes remaining for first period Frosties.

At 14:50, Angello scored an unassisted goal that trickled through the 5-hole. Wallstedt, the #1 goalie for the Iowa Wild, is still in net. He isn't getting much help from his team.

The puck trickled through the Iowa crease. Seconds later, Jankowski scored his 6th goal on a backhander from 10 feet. My wife is wondering why Iowa is not pulling Wallstedt out. He is 11-6 with 2.15 GAA and 93.1%.

No, he is not better than Askarov!

They just brought in Zane McIntyre at 8:45 in relief of Wally.

Kessy just elbowed L'Heureux in the head behind the play on an icing. Now he is jousting with Wilsby, and Livingston came over and he skated away. No penalty.

Kessy came off of bench to yak at Angello. The Ads net was pushed off for the second consecutive time. Maybe Iowa should get a Delay of Game penalty for pushing it off?

Kessy Cross Checked Troy Grosenick in the back of the head. His was ejected! Kessy also grabbed Kemell and exchanged gloves with Gravel in the SW corner. PP for the Ads and Iowa just started more junk behind their net. Svechkov got Boarding, Iowa got nothing.

Weatherby almost scored when the goalie shot the puck off of him. He just needed one more foot. Lots of Checking in the last 10 minutes.

Iowa jammed the puck in with 2 seconds remaining on a PP. Jankowski was ejected.
"Ref you suck" just broke out. Now Troy is talking to the refs. Gravel is talking to a linesman. I think that Iowa knocked the net off of the right post for the third time on their goal. There was a Wild player standing in the crease and none of the 4 officials seems to have noticed.

I expect lots of fights in period 3 in a 6-1 game. The refs are losing control! That is Kyle Bauman (#59) and Mike Dietrich (#15). I don't remember either ref. Iowa is still a DIRTY team coached by Brett McLean.

Iowa starts period 3 with a PP, of course. And their second PPG. They can't score on Troy without one, and the refs know it.

Ads with a weak PP, followed by a Wild post shot, rebound and a goal to make it 6-3. The Ads take their TO baby!

Statsney with a wrister from the top of the left circle to make it 7-3. Iowa scored off a face off to make it 7-4. Troy deserves better.

It’s a good thing they dropped 6 early. The last half of this game has not been fantastic

Karl Taylor talked about that after the game. He also said that a ref told him that the first Iowa goal should NOT have counted. That led to the Jankowski ejection, 32 minutes in penalties for him and the second Iowa goal early in period 3.

So why didn't they review it and waive it off?
I have never seen Troy so agitated and this is his third year in Milwaukee. BTW, Troy has won his last 6 games!

Some around here had suggested that L'Heureux's issues in juniors might have been because of the toxic environment, seems those some might have been right.

Funny how that "toxic environment" only seemed to affect L'Heureux and nobody else.

Regardless, I'm glad he's maturing and playing so well already. We could use a little of his style up front. By contrast, I'm wondering what the Ads watchers think of Reid Schaefer so far, who seems to be struggling a little? Schaefer and maybe Livingstone also were two guys fairly high up in our prospects list anyway who don't seem to be lighting the world on fire in Milwaukee yet?

Excited to see him with the big club, his D+3 stats with Milwaukee are encouraging

The QMLHL is a clown show compared to the other CHL . there is this cancer going on in society right now that wants all men to be effemanite . sorry to hurt your feelings pillownawers but Lauzon, and L`Heureux are going to be good. I hope Nashville becomes the Boston Bruins of the south . constantly pissing on the Toronto kardashians rugs ! lol,

Should have stuck with only 2 posts

I dont think people take issue with the physical play but more the suspensions and 10 minute/game misconduct type things. L'Heureux has 3 10 minute misconducts. 1 for a cross check and 2 for abuse of officials. Not sure the circumstances or how he abused the officials maybe he told them they have two left skates but knock that kindof nonsense out and i he's tracking nicely. As we saw with McCarron against Vancouver, it isnt always clear what the misconduct is for. Either way 14P in 24 games. He is producing well.

Kemell seems to be heating up some. He is up to 8G 11A 19P in 24 Games. Climing into the top 10 for rookie AHL scoring. Svechkov rounding out top 20 and L'Heureux just outside.
