Atlantic terminal?

I f***ing hate Atlantic terminal. It’s barely a mall and Atlantic Avenue in general is f***ing hell, especially there.

I have friends who live a block away and I don’t know how they do it.

Yep, that's the only place that I know that has a Men's Wearhouse. Turned out to be a waste of time.

Rangers could look better, but they're still obviously putting the pieces together. Generally have liked what I see but things are just a touch off which makes getting those goals or defending at times tougher than it should be or hopefully will be
They're going to have to rely on systems play, because they're not instinctively fast as a team

That's fine, even fast teams rely on some amount of game plan and system to be able to move the puck up quickly.

Lots of positives to take from that game. PK was huge, Igor was good. At 5v5 we generally carried play. Still think there's a lot of thinking going on getting used to the system but it's going well I think.

I like the physical stuff at the end, stuff like that early in the year helps galvanize the room early on.

I don't get the grousing about Wheeler and Bonino. Wheeler is perfectly fine in the role he's cast in right now and he's getting up to speed. It 's not like he's blocking anyone in the lineup, he wasn't even on PP2. He made some savvy veteran plays along the walls and a nice play late in the third on Cooley. His offesne will come. And with Bonino, he's a little slower than he used to be but I really don't have an issue with him. He's smart and his positioning is great so he's always where he needs to be when he needs to be there, even if he's slow. Compared to the last two guys we started a season with at 4C were Kevin Rooney and Ryan Carpenter it's an improvement, Bonino might as well be Bergeron compared to them.

Smack dab in my least favorite area that’s semi close to me. I had to go to party city to pick up balloons for a friends 30th a few months ago and almost lost my mind. Didn’t help that I had to go back because the guy forgot to tie one of the balloons correctly and it flew away.

I know it’s off topic but I cannot stress how much I hate that area. It’s the New Jersey Devils of Brooklyn.

The only good thing about Atlantic Terminal is it's where we drew the biggest gate in WNBA history and I was one of the gate.

Played well tonight. We were fighting it in the 1st and 2nd a little and penalties can take the wind outta ya, but that was a great 3rd. When they had the lead they didn't go into the shell.

Having said that, 3rd pairing will likely be an adventure each night. Hopefully Schneider gets it together sooner rather than later.

I would waive Bonino tomorrow and call up Brod. Goodrow-Brod-Vesey would be a million times better.

Wheeler I don't know. Made some good plays and some bad. Sometimes he looks like he has it still and then sometime he doesn't. I'm willing to give him more time.

Looked to me like Fox was hurt.

Again, Goodrow-Brod-Vesey.

Can't really ask for more from the staff. Great systems implemented in all areas of the game. Hopefully the players stick with it. I, also, like that they keep going with the top 9 as it is. Maybe some guys haven't scored, but I'm glad the staff recognizes guys are playing well and you don't have to overcoach it.

Did I mention we should go with Goodrow-Brod-Vesey as the 4th line?

Just got back from the game. I’ve missed Rangers hockey in NYC. Beautiful night. Evening started out shaky, one of the frequent bars I go to was closed for a private party, but didn’t let it ruin my evening.

Overall, thought they played well. It was a pretty even game. Arizona is no slouch this year.

Looking ahead... after Preds, long ass road trip out west through to Winnipeg

we'll see how it ends up playing out, but in theory i think this west coast swing early is great for the team. got a new staff so everyone being together for a long roady could be really good to really build as a team. also seems like lavi is a huge camaraderie guy so imagine he'll make a point of having the team together off ice as much as possible - can be a tougher task locally given players have their own lives and commitments. in that regard really like how much more lavi values building relationships as a team than any coach i recall.

as far as tonight, ar is a much better team than a lot of people think of them being - though in hockey circles i think most recognize they're a lot better than they've been the last few years. this was a solid win and especially like the mental toughness of the team. woulda been easy to give one up on the 5 on 3 after getting caught up with how absurd the calls were. instead they were able to bear down and get through it then take advantage of their opportunity and pretty much smothered the coyotes to close it out. also love the end of the game...don't take no sht.

I thought Bonino made some nice defensive plays

He was and has been great on the PK thus far.

Thats been about it.

The 4th line was a problem tonight. Rangers top 9 murked the Coyotes top 9 but the 4th line was literally on the ice for 3 of the 4 high danger chances the Coyotes had in this game 5v5. They played like 9 minutes.

I think you can justify Bonino on the roster and in the lineup for his PK ability alone. His wingers need to change.

Vesey is better than both of the guys he's sitting for.
