Laf seemed like he forced that one pass on a transition and then lost all confidence and never touched the puck again

Had 3rd pair on a few times in the last 5 minutes too. And that was after Schneider let a guy get behind him in a 2-1 game leading to a penalty shot. Guess the new head coach is still feeling out the team.

You can tell Bonino has the knowhow, but he's done he's too slow now. Wheeler and Quick too. No matter how much management and the coaches want to will it into existence if those players are done they are done.

Schneider had taken the puck deep, Goodrow was back covering for him. That was on the 4th liners who couldn't keep the puck in and Goodrow for losing the guy behind him

So what I’ve been telling myself to feel a bit better about the way this season has started is that these teams are up and coming and not the doormats we think they are.

Games against the Caps and maybe even Tampa are probably going to be “easier” than these. But really there are just no easy games in the modern NHL.

@Machinehead do you have any charts regarding Trouba? Aside from a few bad plays, I haven't really had much of an issue with him so far.
