If he does, then you have that problem with Byfield-Zegras instead of Byfield-Turcotte. I guess my point is that reads more like "I wish they would have picked Zegras" than anything to do with a slot for Turcotte, an opinion I know others share and no offense intended but it doesn't change the issue (and if they had picked Seider same thing but at RHD instead of C

I do agree with you though that that comment was very worrisome. And that Blake has sort of painted himself into a corner here. I'm eager to see what happens next, this is the inflection point at which Rob has some very difficult decisions to make and ultimately this deadline through the end of next season may ultimately determine the success of his tenure and how we view what he's started to put together.
