I’ve never been more disinterested in a PL season (not that that’s what you’re referring to)…..it’s sad. (~11 years and counting for me).
Well your team has been pretty awful, for them anyway, and in no way entertaining all season. Their incredible inability to put the ball in the net has been impressive.

Their summer will be interesting as they have way too large a squad so will have plenty of decisions to make. And unless they literally basically give him away broken down Lukaku won’t be staying at Inter.

Really solid roster for the Nations League. Very excited that they’re moving away from the MLS favorites and bringing in players with the most talent and potential.

The team also confirmed that Tyler Adams, CCV, Josh Sargent, Malik Tillman, and Chris Richards are missing due to injury, not due to selection.

And finally, in what may be the biggest news of this window, Folarin Balogun posted on his IG after being snubbed from the England squad, “In life, go where you’re appreciated.” He’s deciding to play for the US or England st the international level (or potentially Nigeria) and he would be a huge, foundational addition to the USMNT if he chooses the US over England. He has 17 goals in 28 games for Nice on loan from Arsenal making him the third leading scorer in Ligue 1 behind Mbappe and Jonathan David.

Champions League draw is ‘interesting.’ There’s the good teams side and Italian side. Madrid, Bayern, and Citeh all on the same side.

That club is unbelievably poorly run. This was all very salvageable but they just kept bringing in new players because Xavi wanted them, even though they have way more players than they can realistically use. It was stupid and now they are going to lose an academy jewel as a result. If he is willing to go there if Madrid doesn’t pick him I’ll be shocked.

He’s so good….what a blunder.

f*** that, if true. What a joke.
Yeah I don’t necessarily love what I’ve seen from his teams on the field but he’s gotten some decent results overall and everything I’ve read about him bridging the Euro vs MLS players divide is encouraging.

I haven’t heard of any obviously better options being actually interested in the job though. Henry wants it but as a manager he’s got a whole heck of a lot more questions than Berhalter IMO.

I’d rather have a manager with more questions and also more potential than stick with Berhalter. His teams can’t score goals, period. They were second to last in the World Cup in chances created. He was fired from both his previous roles because his teams couldn’t score. It’s such a colossal waste of talent and of an opportunity with the WC coming to the US in 2026. Real soccer countries sacked their managers after they underachieved in Qatar and Berhalter might be extended. The USSF is dogshit.

They scored three goals in four games in Qatar and one of those was in garbage time of the Netherlands loss. They’re no longer threatening on set pieces like the US teams of old were. It would really suck seeing them settle for mediocrity by bringing GB back for another term.

One of my favorite players to watch. Dude was a magician. A shame how his career ended but it doesn’t take anything away from how good he was in his prime.

Yeah Nemo was a genius on his day. I was super excited when he went to Arsenal and yes how it worked out in the end was disappointing the first few seasons were great. There were days he reminded me of Bergkamp.

Well, Gb didn’t underachieve as he’s measured by team results. If not for two meddlesome parents, he would probably already be resigned.

I’m fine with someone new who is a name AND an upgrade.

I couldn’t imagine previously how GB could come back into the room after this all, but the more player leaders who vocally support the guy to the press, they just increase that likelihood. So far It’s basically a ’STFU and fall in line’ message to Gio…..even if it ends up being a new face.

I nearly passed out here after seeing what they're charging for the MLS all star game in DC this summer. 200 dollars for the supporters section, before the likely 60 dollar fees?

f*** that.

I mean, for an All-star game, sounds reasonable.

I see it’s All Stars vs Arsenal….so even more demand.

200 is about what I paid for World Series and Stanley Cup final tickets.

:sarcasm:

(it's the truth I am a season ticket holder we were charged face value without the 3rd party markup)

Probably just going to end up going to the fanfest to get some shit, but f*** no I'm not going to that game
